3:00pm - Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Capcom vs SNK 2 begins
3:30pm - Guilty Gear Slash begins
4:00pm - Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection begins
4:30pm - Registration ends for all Side Tournament games
5:00pm - Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo begins

FORMAT FOR OFFICIAL TOURNAMENTS:
Street Fighter 3: 3rd strike
$5 entry + 1 Token (Event mode will be turned on)
double elimination tournament
2 out of 3 games per match
3 out of 5 games per semi final match
4 out of 7 games grand finals

Capcom vs SNK 2
$5 entry + 1 Token per play (Event mode will be turned on)
double elimination tournament
2 out of 3 games per match
3 out of 5 games per semi final match
4 out of 7 games grand finals
You must keep team order if you win a game and if blind pick is requested

Marvel vs Capcom 2
$5 entry + 1 Token (Event mode will be turned on)
double elimination tournament
2 out of 3 games per match
3 out of 5 games per semi final match

game freezing glitches and dead body infinites are banned

Players choose 1 character and one groove and take that character through the entire tournament

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION ? OFFICIAL TOURNAMENTS:
All tournaments will have a distribution of 70/20/10.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION ? SIDE/UNOFFICIAL TOURNAMENTS:
A3 and XvSF will have a 70/20/10 split and ST will have an 80/20 split.

The Christmas tournament is always a great time and in many cases a last chance to see everyone before everyone’s lives go nuts with Christmas and/or New Year’s plans.

I’ve had a few people ask me about X-Men vs Street Fighter. I’m going to meet the players half way on this one:

I will get ORBIT to give you the space and the table for it. They’re usually a bitch when it comes to that stuff. I am leaving it up to the XvSF community to provide the PC and necessary controllers/sticks. The game will be added as a side tournament for $3 just like Alpha 3 with a 70/20/10 split. That’s all I can promise on this game so it’s up to the rest of the players to come through if they really want it.

Shit! I’m a tekken player but I have exams from the 11th till 15th. Is their any possibility on date change? like the week after, Im sure other memebers also have exams around this time.

I know but I won’t have time to play Tekken for 2 weeks because of my exams, which might hinder my chances of winning/doing well.

I am just wondering if it can be possible to push it a week? That is not too bad… .

I wouldn’t mind the tourney being on the 23rd, but I’m betting most people would have a shitload of stuff to do seeing as that’s two days before Christmas.
