I’m sorry but the 23rd isn’t an option. I considered the 9th but that was during people’s exams. The 23rd was far too close to Christmas and people would have either family obligations or last minue shopping. The 16th was the happy medium in this case. If people’s worst concern is that they’re a bit rusty, that isn’t a good enough reason to re-schedule the 2nd biggest tournament of the year. I’m sure everyone can fit a little time if only to make sure the timing on their combos is down, in the days prior to the tournament.
Lawrence; I like having the entire community for the Christmas tourney. I know the Tekken Crew usually does their own thing but I figure with six weeks notice, we can find a balance between the Tekken Crew and the GTASF.

Not really, I was just wondering if it was possible or not. I didn’t enforce it on anyone. I don’t want him to change the date if it’ll affect the main crowd (2D players). But if it’a possibilty why not right?

Christmas Countdown should be renamed “The Return of Hamstar”. Everyones only allowed to join the Initial D tournament, no other games.

yeah this tourney sounds hype and if you dont want to come, dont come, simple. If you can’t come don’t come. Nobody is forcing you. Trying to get others to change the date for your own sake is selfish I agree and people who ask for it…are being gay.

I went one step further, asking ORBIT management for an XvSF board. One can only hope they don’t laugh in my face requesting such an old game. But at least this way it would save someone the trouble of bringing a PC into ORBIT for the day.
