For rpg I’d say breath of for 2.
for a long time it was easily my fav series and I hope they get back to it minus the mess the last ps2 release was.
Action I’d say actraiser 2 or castlevania 3.
romance of the three Kingdoms 4 wall of fire under whatever category it falls.
For narrative the legacy of Kain/ soul Reaver series.
Something modern gaming cannot seem to capture in the feel of pure storytelling.

I know many think it’s overrated, but Final Fantasy 7…Don’t kill me guys!!!
I also like Yoshi’s Island and Resident Evil Outbreak as a close second
Metal Gear Solid 4 is an honorable mention
The Resident Evil Series was great, especially Nemesis.

This, so hard. This was my all time favorite racing game, with NFSU2 in at a close 2nd. The vibe and mood the game gives you…by having all of the races take place in the early morning, sunset, or at night…combined with such immaculately chill music, makes it a game for you to seriously just cruise. One of the best soundtracks of any game period.
Final Fantasy 6.

Nothing beats “Zelda: Ocarina Of Time”! That was my very first epic adventure!
Otherwise, I have to say that I had a blast with Counter-Strike 1.5… Simplistic, but that’s what made it so great.
