In TFS Gohan voice “I need an adult!”
This shit predates America.
People do have the tendency to do dumb and ignorant shit in general.
Holy shit.
Yo, this game gon be something else.
Holy shit that picture made me choke on my dinner
.
So what do you lose from using the “easy” inputs for Supers in Granblue? I know the properties/cooldowns change for easy specials but what about the supers? From what I’ve seen they still do the same damage.
You lose out on damage. Also it’s harder to get the full cinematic too I think. Gran has a lot less invincibility frames on his skybound art if you use the shortcut
Speaking of the EZ inputs, what version of the specials you get when doing them? Can you do either regular EZ DP or EX EZ DP?
Just out of curiosity.
You can do both normal and EX with the ez inputs.
You need to push the special button + heavy attack for the EX iirc.
Oh nice. Does this work for light and medium versions too?
Oh really? Is the damage scaled harder maybe? Because when I tried in training mode with Vaseraga the damage was the same with both inputs.
You can do both I know for sure. But I’m not sure about the input for EZ EX specials.
Edit: whoops looks like Hecatom had the answer. Noice
Edit again: oh I see what you mean by damage, I keep forgetting the regular super has a cinematic aspect, at least for Vaseraga.
Yea its scaling.
Ex shortcuts have longer cooldowns than regular ex’s as well
From what I remember last time I tried it, yes. Basically SP+L/M/H+direction gives you that version of the special. So if you wanted medium DP you can hit 6+M+SP at the cost of longer CD.
If someone told me that Skort had an AI program written that constantly monitored the internet for Juri fan art being posted and then immediately torrented any it found to his computer, I’d believe it.
Found out there was a glitch in MVCI that prevented from finding matches if you looked for them from the main menu (but you can find matches easily while searching during Training Mode).
It also doesn’t find lobbies, you have to know the specific players you want to play (from what I understand).
Two things come to mind:
(1) I’m curious how this effected the playerbase.
I know when I first got the game (in the midst of the MVCI flaming that was going on), I sat for 20 mins looking for a match in the main menu and didn’t bother to play the game again until I stumbled on info a year or so later saying PS4 actually had a decent playerbase (if you looked in training) and found that was actually true.
(2) It’s a shame how fast Capcom abandoned this game. How’d they miss this?
Honestly, another DLC pack or two along with a model upgrade for some of the characters and this game would’ve been in great shape.
I understand the bashing this game was getting and the outlook didn’t look good, plus, Marvel probably dropped any support, but it sucks. It really is a fun game.
MvCI’s problem was never that it wasn’t fun enough to live.
Having to deal with Disney/Marvel probably didn’t do a lot to encourage them to try to salvage it. And this current age of Capcom doesn’t seem to be too invested in FGs.
If SF wasn’t one of their tent pole IPs (and had a fanbase/internal company people that were willing to put up with a mountain of shit) they may have ultimately decided to let SFV have a similar arc. The fucked up part is that they put the better version of the netcode in the game that died almost right out of the gate.
Great points.
I kinda want someone else to make a Marvel fighting game… Just not NRS.
That COC mobile game is pretty dope (for a mobile game) and gets great support. I would love a proper fighter like that. The game has got to be close to how old SFV is and is still getting new characters (granted they’re easier to make).
Anyone but them.
NRS does justice to their franchises when it comes to presentation , story , for the single player aspect of their games, MK and Injustice.
They need to work on gameplay but i feel that a lot of shit that they get is exaggerated.
While Injustice 1 was straight up good and 2 was alright, MK11 raises a lot of questions about whether or not NRS can have a good story arc going.
It was honestly one of the worst story modes I’ve ever seen. Everything around the last arc was abysmal.
