I have the SRK 2 forum on bookmarks though i need to make an account.
I kinda feel guilty not using it tbh. People put effort into it and here i am thinking of using it as a “last resort” if this forum shuts down.
But if i start posting there and here at the same time, gonna be odd as i honestly expect to find the same people mostly. At least in the Street Fighter thread.
Thanks I should go back there. I don’t even remember use ID anymore. Probably KingCrimson, lol (I change my tag entirely too much - happy with this one though).
Man you got some gawd awful Ryu players. Super Diamond…seriously?
Got bodied by problem X that was awesome, hope he wasnt streaming ha ha. Also played that tommij Ryu player? Very good. Couldnt beat him , but close games.
With time she got “better”.
But man, her first year or so here was a terrible one.
Like going to the porn thread to say that the site should delete it, or going to the math and science threads to post dumb shit like math was not a necesary skill to learn and shit like that.
I remember that we were clowning someone on a GD thread and everything was alright until she went full personal moking him for his divorce and his kids.
Then everyone jumped on her for being dumb and going to far.
From my experience, is only white dudeds with a guilt complex trying to police what everyone says. Lol.
Add that some people act like you need certain qualifications to have the right to use it.
So, it becomes a point of contention, since is ok if a black/latino/indian use it (and sometimes only black) to refer to friends, or just people in general, but if a white dude use it is the same as it has used the hard r version.
That is the thing.
It is not.
But at the same time, it is frowned when a white person use it.
Mostly due the socio cultural ramifications of the origin of the word.
The hard R version is a racial slur, the nigga variant is something akin to dude, pal, etc.
But is mostly reserved for black people and depending of the place it extends to other minorities in general.
