Booted up SFV for a quick second to see some of Ken’s moves and saw quite a few things from 3S, which I liked, and then tried sweeping Chun-Li, and saw his foot go past her front foot (and whiff) so much that the cuff of his pants was halfway through her ankle.

Eh? 3, Black Flag, Rogue, Unity, Syndicate are all still done more or less in the classic AC formula. It’s Origins that should’ve started a new franchise
Series just didn’t have the same feel in some of those titles. You could tell they were startling to do other shit and just slapping the same title everywhere.

I managed to make through that ol’ “we’re gonna look 500 years into the past through your cells” bullshit. But then I was happily skipping along and trying to climb a wall and this fool does a backflip into the abyss for no reason.

I never cared much for the story outside Ezio games. Just being an assassin and parkouring it up was fun.
I don’t want to be a pirate Or Viking and sail a fucking boat in a game called Assassin’s Creed.
I could see that. Its kinda goofy that there hasn’t been an Assasin’s Creed WW1 or WW2 where you’re sneaking around trying to murder officers.
But I think my problem was that I approached the game wrong. I was looking for the same high as OG Tenchu Stealth Assasins in PS1 and I’ve yet to find it.
