I’ve said it before but its trash. Can’t really control the neutral. Your assists are just for lock down or random combo extensions and everybody is basically running the same mix up. The one character that wasn’t doing that early on got nerfed to shit and the other one that can’t, Hit, is supposedly trash.
I get why people like it but its been sort of a boring ass game to watch. For a good while.
not to sound like an ass, but what’s the difference with MvC2? I mean now that DBFZ is in S3, I’d agree that S1 and 2 were much more barebones compared to MvC-any
About to try out some dbfz if anyone wants some games. Dont really feel like trying to shake rust off against some random online people lol
Seeing a lot of people complaining about the new update. Basically those that are in the middle of nowhere unable to find any matches. Maybe 1 or 2 after waiting for about 10 mins, but not enough to have any consistency. That actually sucks.

DBFZ does a lot of things right :
I still can’t get into the game though and i do like Dragon Ball.When it comes to fighting games i prefer something less chaotic if that makes any sense.
I prefer using sniper rifles and DBFZ is dual wielding UZI with infinite ammo cheat.
Do you think 17, Trunks, Goku basico could work?

Doesnt 17 need an assist to make his mixup game strong? Feel like 17 would be one of the worst characters to pair with B goku
It took me almost two days to figure out they meant V skill 2 for Seth’s changes in 5.5 and not V trigger 2.
The guard will now be continuous when following up from a guard into a
Cyclone Disaster.
I’d be more worried about Trunks, when 17 dies he’s got no assist.
As per 17 he’s got side switch on EX much like Yamcha, and as far as I know that was enough for Yamcha to be viable.
DBFZ Story mode was abysmal.
Sparking trunks is pretty OD from what I’ve seen. You’d probably want to run him anchor on that team.
17 trunks and base goku would work fine as a team. Although I’d really suggest taking A assist on base goku for that team specifically cause its not like trunks or 17 are meter hogs.
17’s mixups are all canned and prebaked into his moveset. Only reason he would use assists is to cover gaps in it, which he can already take account for himself with shield and such.
It was decent.
Was basically full of “what ifs”. I honestly felt like i played DBZ Abriged.
Dragon Ball RoasterZ
its fucking god awful
like better than soul calibur 5 I guess, that’s the nicest thing I can say about it. It had a few laughs, inlcuding great saiyaman exists cause gohan apparently was fixated on the ginyu force dance routine as a kid but there are few highlights outside of that.
Yea, I thought alot of the mix with gaps were fake when you know the matchup. I watch a good bit of axeice at the HOC tourneys. Thought I remember the players saying he needs coverage for his mixups.
its one of those deals where its fake when you know but when I know you know then I can do something else and make it more real etc etc etc. Axeice is def the best 17 around for sure though, also a good guy from the few interactions I have had with him.
