The GranGlue Fighter Lounge: Corona Virus bodied Shadaloo Free AF

People I had great connections with now are terrible.

Only Capcom could be this good.

Having gaps doesn’t remove the mixup, but it does make it more risky.

Characters that can scrunch the gaps out of the mixups can enforce their bullshit longer and more safely, which together snowballs into a significant advantage.

@Daemos

Come get ya mans. You shilled this trash to hell and back and the netcode keeps getting worse.

When’s SF6 fam!?

damn

I wonder if Capcom’s partnership with Sony has been profitable for them to justify SF 6 being a PS 5 exclusive as well for the next generation when it comes to consoles.

I for one hope that shit never happens again and the game will be on all modern platforms with crossplay.

Hard to say… Without Sony Money we probably wouldn’t have a SFV to begin with.

With the current Capcom Redemption Arc, they probably don’t need the money, but free money is free money. I guess it’s up to Sony.

The real question is: Funds or not, does the FG Division have the juice to make SF6 good?

If the gaps can be beat by a single option, it can remove the mixup. I just dont have any experience with 17 so I’m not sure what the gaps actually are

Your assists can actually control space properly not kind of. You have to respect all the anti air assists. Being far away from somebody means you’re far away from them. You aren’t gonna magically teleport to close the distance. Having Magneto in front of you is not the same as having Iron Man or Sentinel or Storm or Strider; half basically running on the same gameplan and then they just rotated who got the buffs to keep doing it.

Its a lot. MvC2 is amazing at high level with around 10 characters and 20+ teams from it all these years later. The differences in execution and approach between players are amazing. You got some players that have their wheelhouse but most counterpicking teams still counts for a lot. It isn’t something you get in a lot of other team games (and they kinda suffer for it). MSP (Magneto/Storm/Psylocke) is a way different beast than MSS (Magneto/Storm/Sentinel); MSS is also completely different to deal with depending on whether its drones or rocket punch assist.

You got some of that in MvC3 with the difference in Doom assists but in all the time in DBF people just run their team all yolo. Maybe it changes now. But it isn’t like counterpicking was a thing.

Kind of hilarious that they made goofy ass models and then had to give them special rules. Oh noes don’t fuzzy my character who is as big as the screen. Abigail is dumb for a reason but ArcSys gotta handhold new school big body players. Sentinel was Godlike but his big ass size also made it so you had to be careful with your defense. But babies can’t have that in their anime game or else they bitch.

There’s cool interactions in DBF but not cool gameplans. The cool gameplans got nerfed away because people don’t want to get snapped in and mixed. That’s like the basics of a team game.

I’m hoping SF6 is multiplatform again.

I wanna fuck with Halo again.

Big bodies can still get fuzzied in dbfz, as far as I know. I think it’s just when blocking in the air, you can go straight to crouch blocking upon landing. Isnt that the change in season 3?

Nah it’s up to Capcom not Sony. I think Capcom had enough money for SFV on their own but as u said, free money is free money. Sony probably had nothing to do with it except being exclusive on their platform and most likely some deadline.

Capcom need to be in charge of their own shit from start to finish in my opinion.

I question myself if they still find the franchise profitable and if a new title is something on their mind.

  • Will SFV’s miserable launch be enough for them to learn how to improve on 6 ?
  • Has SFV generated enough money and interest to justify making another title in the series ?
  • Even if it did generate enough money, what kind of message does this send ? People are willing to put up with their shit as long as it bears the SF name ? Will they repeat this ?

No they haven’t

Quick and simple.
SFVI will be another round of disappointments and half assed development.

@Volt what is happening to women over with the quarantine

The more I play with this new netcode, the more I fear Cipher is right.

But hey, GBVS just needed to come out with that wack ass delay stuff.

Deflect and 2H.

There are some fancy pants ways to deal with the 2H but as mentioned, better characters don’t need to deal with it at all.

17 has extra steps.

Of course if you go Gapless you have to deal with guard cancels. And since 17 has poor neutral that can be extra hard on him.

And the wack ass delay will be consistent, Capcoms Netcode will never.

Good thing I’m EU, the worst connections I have inside EU are 3f.

Wtf, that’s creepy…

So am ARMS character is the next character for Smash.

I’m honestly happy about this. The game was kinda lame but I did love the art and character design.

Especially the character design.

Sony had put $$ into SFV’s development and even funded the CPT for the first few yrs.

That being said, I’m not expecting Capcom to go exclusive with the next title. It should be released on all consoles with crossplay out the box. I don’t know if Capcom’s next fighting game project will be SFVI or not, but whatever it is…they need to come out swinging.
