Gimme one of them and I buy Strive no problem.

The only good thing about Strive though is that now Asw will have a rollback netcode at their disposal.
I cwn see it being implemented on GBFVS if there isnt too much changes between the way they programed Strive and GBFVS.
On DBFZ i can only see it until a sequel.
And on BBTAG, it would depend of how compatible is their old engine with whatever the new netcode is being build on.

I wouldn’t use AC: Odyssey for historical referencing of any sort, it’s basically a game set in mythical Greece pretending to be historical Greece rather than actual historical Greece.
Like, that game has a damn fully armed woman walking through the streets of Athens, one of the most misogynistic societies on Earth, and nobody bats a damn eye. Fucking ancient Athenians disliked women so much that the social norm was that those who could afford it should build their houses with the women’s quarter and the men’s quarter, and wealthy women were supposed to never get out of their home (although this idea of social norms was so strict that it was never possible to be applied in full).
In fact, fucking Athenians disliked women so much that they’d rather fuck young boys if given the chance. And that’s the story of how pederasty became a word. 
Game’s fun though, it gave me Xena vibes. I abandoned it halfway through, I have to finish it one of these days.

As the admin of the latin american community i already have 2 codes guaranteed.
But i wouldn’t play on it since i have zero interest on strive, the game has zero of what i liked of the series to begin with.
And no, i already promised them to my brother and a cousin, so dont ask for them.
Rollback arcsys is gonna be so powerful
It’s a shame gbvs probably won’t be saved, but if that’s the price of finally getting to play arcsys games with dudes more than two fucking counties away then so be it lol
And maybe they could add rollback to Xrd. Not sure how possible that is but Daisuke did say there could still be updates to Xrd.

Doubt it.
There is zero economic insentive at this point to do it.
Of all their games out, the only one with a big chance of getting it is GBFVS, since its lyfecycle will be going on par with Strive and Cygames will very likely be interested on it being updated if the new netcode proves to be good and a factor on strong sales.
All the other games are just too old and way late on their life cycle to receive big development changes.
Also the update thing for Xrd was a throw away thing they said after the backlash that Strive got.
Is more in the line of Strive being a spin-off, and the X series still being a thing.
But that will only be true if Strive fails or at best is divisive.
I find it hard to believe they’d do it. They’re definitely treating Strive as the priority and GBVS is also a current game.
I want to believe there’s a good chance they’ll port it back to GBVS because we know Strive started with Delay-Based (And will be Delay-Based on the Beta) so they don’t need to make it from the ground up.
DBFZ would be on the line too.
Edit: If they port it back to Granblue, DBFZ would have a very high chance of getting it since it’s on an ongoing season too. Big if tho.
I honestly don’t see any kind of investment on Xrd as financially viable. Game had a good run, they’re working on the sequel, and “That’s all folks!”.
If you are curious, the image is from March 2018. The man was drunk and had been arguing with and threatening other passengers. Some accounts were that he shouted “Shoot me” as airport personnel arrived, then jumped over the railing. He survived the fall and was taken to the hospital; police reported that he sustained significant injuries.
Honestly, the gif posted above may be one of the uglier videos of the event. You can see the man’s head hitting the base of the railing, and it isn’t clear just how badly his neck is bent. Looking up the event, most of the other footage doesn’t look as bad.

There’s exactly one quest that deals with any of that in odyssey I think, some spartans are trying to murder a helot and either you save the helot and then ruin their chances of becoming “men” or you let them murder a defenseless slave.
and then its back to putting on your dumb minotaur mask and killin folks
minotaur mask rules btw, that whole island quest chain is a highlight of the game.
