- No, he didnt slip at all. Its clear as day from 3:04 to 3:11 that they were antagonizing him, and acting like they were about to get it poppin. He only slipped a little in the process of positioning himself in a stance to possibly throw them hands. He was pulling up his shorts through those like 10 seconds getting ready to get it poppin. Stop.
Defining popping off is semantics, and i already said he shouldnt have taken her down, because it did nothing but escalate the situation. I just understand that he was likely still within his policing right to do so. It was just not the smartest choice.
Its quite simple. He says go across the street, then just go. Wtf difference does it make. Hes not going to start executing those black kids one by one because you didnt stand there rambling on about nothing. If anything they are also contributing to the escalation of the situation by simply not complying to a basic command. Rambling about on my momma. Stfu and get across the street, ho.
- Times are rough for cops, im not shocked they didnt condone his actions, as to avoid huge back lash from the community and media. Of course the girl was going to be released, like all of them were, because no one committed a crime. The cop was just trying to sort things out in chaos, and people saw black male teens being commanded to the ground and felt some type of way about it. They dropped the crime on the dude who acted like he was gonna get it poppin because of the back lash. He tries that shit with a cop any other time than this one, and you bet his ass is getting locked up, or something worse.
The police department is tucking its tail right now because they were minors. I bet if this same situation involved adults, they would still be looking into it, aka bidding their time until things cool over. He was definitely a bit over zealous at times, but people also clearly werent listening to him. He told those young men to stay put earlier, they didnt, and now hes turnt up because they were running, and hes chasing after some of them. The girls just simply had to step across the street.
Are we going to ignore the fact that this all escalated because people ran like dummies when the cops came, which immediately escalated the situation, then they didnt listen when he told them to sit and stay put, then the girls couldnt just walk away and observe from a distance, THEN two dudes act like they bout it bout it, and try to run up on the cop, which caused him to pull out his gun.
**Seriously, none of this would have happened if no one ran when the cops came, talked to them, complied, and not contributed to escalating it themselves. **
- I mean, i dont know enough about the situation to know how singled out the black kids were vs the white kids. I assume he allowed the dough boy father to stick around because obviously hes not one of the children causing an issue. There were some other father figures around that werent told to leave either, and one was black. This was after he had her down on her stomach.
I feel like i need to do more research before i toss out some race card shit because a couple white teens said the cops ran right past them like they werent there. Well were you fucking running? No, okay, then thats probably why the cop ran past you after someone else. lol. Were it a group of white girls not dispersing, and not a group of black girls, i think the same thing would have happened. He was turnt up, and already one white girl was in handcuffs.
