I haven’t really been following the looting/vandalism parts of the protest, but it’s getting a lot worse in many areas.(way worse) And it doesn’t seem like it’s all paid instigators or white peeps. Colored folk out acting silly too.
It’s just hurting everyone. Also curfews are cutting into businesses that are still open, peeps getting less money, more jobs closing, more stress/unrest and CoVid gonna blow up in the next week or so too.
Shit just ain’t going well right now.

Protesters getting hurt/killed, cops getting hurt/killed, niggas looting nikes, excessive force used on protesters, shooting at police, burning shit down, etc. none of that is good.
I don’t see an angle where you can argue any of this is just fine cause the other side did xyz.

It’s a tough situation. Then both sides appear to be either leaderless or incapable of deescalation so it just keeps going.

But the looting is coming on the back end of the protests. They’re taking advantage of the crowd being there. Im not sure how you separate the two. People in the protests and police are trying but unfortunately once they pop tear gas, warranted or not, the reaction is usually riot.

Go to CNN and a lot of the footage is of cops hitting/shooting rubber bullets at protesters, go to Fox, a lot of the footage is protesters/rioters beating the shit out of people and stealing. Like they aren’t even making any pretense of pushing a really obvious narrative on both sides of it.
