It’s hard to care about the Struckers when the other mutants are far more interesting characters. Marcos, Thunderbird and Polaris make for better leads. Andy has become more unlikable since joining with the Hellfire Club.
Jace Turner backstory is familiar to the latest incarnation of X-ecutioner. It would be stretch to make him that character if they wanted.

If Blink stays dies. Too much potential for her character to be killed off.
They never showed a body. So they may be pulling a fast one on us…at least I hope so. One person’s death is confirmed though
Polaris got Sage killed with her improvised hack.
Killing off Sage off of flimsy evidence shows how dumb and paranoid Reeva must be. It’s like someone getting a hold of her credentials never crossed their minds.
Not only that. She could have had the Frost’s scan everyone else to be sure.
First Dreamer, now Blink. Thunderbird sure is unlucky. Now this is X-men where “I got better” is a common quote when characters are resurrected. But they should keep her dead imo.
I actually thought Erg would get it so that Blink would be returned to the mutant underground, but nice that they subverted that.
It feels like they were trying to do a take on Mutant Massacre on a smaller scale.
Though having Turner take part in it is weird if they intend to redeem him later.
I still don’t really care about the Struckers and their powers drama this season.
Turner lost his chance at redemption. There’s no way for him to come back after murdering the morlocks.
There were hints that sexy ass Dreamer was going to get resurrected but alas. Thunderbird is out here like James Bond, every girl he sleeps with gets the Indian burial ground curse.
The only way Turner can redeem himself is if he dies for the mutant cause in a brilliant fashion. He now sees he’s causing the same mayhem as what happened to him and his family.
In the most recent episode (2x15) X-men legend Chris Claremont had a cameo as an online conspiracy guy that Jace was watching on his laptop.
Decent episode.
Given what happened at the end of the finale are we getting Days of Future Past or Exiles?
I met the man, once.
He was very full of himself, and not low key enough smugly arrogant, that you wouldn’t read and punish it a mile away in footsies.
Compare this with John Romita Junior, who was very full of himself, yet effusively nice and genuinely awesome.
I got an old Essential X-Men trade signed by Claremont at Megacon 2013 but it was such a brief interaction I didn’t really notice his mood that much.
Regarding the ending of S2 Gifted, I was thinking maybe Age of Apocalypse but that’s probably only bc Blink was more skilled in her Powers and using daggers to activate portals compared to her more withdrawn self during the phalanx covenant story.
The Gifted is canceled.
This is why I hate shows like this being on Fox. They always cancel them.
I could see it going to Disney+ if the demand is there…

I have this feeling it will stay canceled.
The ratings fell a lot this season , and unlike the Netflix MCU , there hasn’t been as much grinding of teeth and cries of sadness for this show.
This. Outside of Deadpool, I think Marvel will want everything else to tie in within their MCU shared universe/continuity.
Not entirely shocking but still very disappointed considering the cool direction the series was heading in the season finale.
