i finally figured it out. heres what i did.
i made a new folder and downloaded everything i needed to use it then just copy pasted everything in the folder into every other folder in it till it worked.
i def like 3s better on ggpo then xbl.

I never had the need to forward any ports and i have installed ggpo in countless pcs, magic??!!

I got bodied by Ultradavid in ST. Dude did Dictator sweep point blank all day in my face. I’m so bad at ST 
used to play almost daily, then I had to switch to a wireless router which GGPO doesn’t like, and now I rarely ever make it on. 
well that, and the absence of deadman GGPO KING!
There are a lot of top players who don’t like SF4 and/or UMVC3 but play them because there’s always competition and money in it for them the same could be said for 3S in its prime, maybe more so.
Anyways it seems this thread is responsible for at least 1 or 2 people getting into ST on GGPo good shit:tup: Always nice to see new blood in an old game?

Actually the opposite happens. Supercade may have lag and choppy game play but it doesnt alter input timing. GGPO is what changes keyboard inputs according to ping and net speed. especially when you use keyboard. it can affect 50 % of keyboard inputs. Games like KOF that rely on timers and normal and hidden ultras, play much better on Supercade.

Logged onto GGPO for the first time in ages and everyones just sitting round in AFK/sleep mode.
amazing! for ages and ages I had a really hard time getting onto GGPO unless I hooked up with a wired connection directly to my modem (which is very inconvenient) but after some research inspired by this thread, I’m back on GGPO! and damn I need to get used to playing ST again, even though it’s my favorite. I actually tried to do an EX move 
still have to get some 98 time in as well…my other favorite game ever, but it’s been ages. cya on GGPO, folks 
I wish it were. I wish. I played with a good player KOF2002 on Supercade and when I asked him to play on GGPO, despite that Supercade crashes in our matches, he insisted on Supercade due to that reason. He playes KOF2002 with a keyboard and on Supercade players timers and normal and hidden ultras are more feasible due to that.

i have had ggpo for a while…i like that you can play the roms solo. but is there away to play 2 people on the same comp…i have tried before but 1 controller always controls both chars in vs mode…not matter how many times i configure p2 button lay out
