Vegito’s damage output is high enough that by plugging him in to shells with high damage gimmicks, it nudges them into easy execution Touch of Death territory.

Gotenks/Vegeto is so good. If you start your air series with superjump MS, you can do LLS+Assist to switch sides with the grab ender or MS+Assist to keep the same side with grab ender. Saves you a bar and in general gotenks assist is pretty much the only one you can reliably use to extend vegeto combos everywhere (vanishes, dragon rushes, 2H, etc). Assist+2H, 214L is a perfectly timed crossup jump H.
Then you factor in the multiple supers and they’re amazing together. Gotenks doesn’t get as much from vegeto, but I started liking his assist because it’s an amazing defensive call since it spawns behind and goes up and great at sniping other assists.
Really happy with these two chars. I want to pick zamasu up but I’m not there yet with my other chars so for now I’m getting carried by vegeta.
Izzit just me or is Vegito’s 5L really good. I honestly think it’s my favorite thing about him so far lol
I’m a big fan of vegitos 5L. Also nice that it makes his strings last longer in case you need a little bit more time for an assist to recharge.
On another note, I think people should start looking into Vegeta as a point character. So when tagged out, you get use out of his assist.

While Zamasu has the lightning out, he is the best character in the game.

I can already see him being part of the top tier. His normals are pretty OD
I’ve also had good luck with Vegito’s 5L. It still feels really slow on startup though so I’m worried it’s gonna start getting stuffed hard when people are more familiar with the matchup.

We still haven’t seen Jiren, Toppo or Dyspo yet. Wonder if Jiren will be a Hit on steroids

At the time of development, the game and DLC picks were likely a little past the Goku Black arc. Jiren hadn’t been invented yet.
I watched bits and pieces of the whole thing, but not top 8. Wasn’t in the mood to watch Go1 curbstomp everybody
That GO1 TOD at the beginning of the first match in grand finals was godlike.
Go 1 and Fenritti were handing out ToDs in the tourney. Was pretty hype.
I’m wonder how important zero meter 2H ToDs are going to be in the long run. Just having a team that can do it shuts down basically half your opponent’s options.
