sorry to inform you, but that are the indicator numbers to find your gem quicker when selecting
Then whereās ā6ā and ā9ā. Care to explain that?
IF we mean the same numbers (post a screen please). but there are missing quite a few due to DLC/PRE Order gems.

Probably different from what weāre thinking. This is Capcom we are talking about, they donāt make things easier for anything.
left side indiactor; right side how many slots they need
Yeahhhh, thatās what I thought. You donāt know what Iām talking about.
Iām just going to shut up and let you and the other people figure it out.
then how about POINTING OUT WHICH FRIGGING NUMBER YOU MEAN? instead of saying āthere is number, go search for it on the whole website on tiny little picturesā? how about that?
1st screen, left side is indicator, right side of the gem is the slot it takes to equip them.
2nd screen, no numbers visually.
3rd screen. 3/3 = preset number, right side are slots again. lvl1 is the gem name
edit: OMG you mean AT THE END OF THE WEBSITE? Thatās the condition⦠get hit by normal moves: 10. block normal moves: 4. get hit by special move: 2.
That whole Iron Wall and Fortitude thing has confused me from the begining as well.
Iāve done the math on SF4 combos I can do as if my opponent had Iron wall or if I had immense power. just to see the difference reflected and with Fortitude it is almost like normals would deal zero damage while others would still do like 35pts when it could have done 40 ā not that big of deal to me.
Iron Wall is shit. like literally the worst gem in the game. Fortidue 100 absorb is actually pretty decent, in fact the best gem math wise. however, Iām pretty confident that offense gems will dominate along with one particular meter boost gem.
Hmm?
Personally I think the iron wall +30% when your opponent activates pandora will be a popular choice as well.
even then the +160 damage reduction is probably better.
partner connects with launcher => +40% meter acquisition.
But thatās when youāre activationg pandora, not your opponent.
And I donāt know about that meter gem, Proficiency seems a lot better than Onslaught imo.
Onslaught vs Proficiency is sort of a yin and yang thing to me. they are more or less the same, only working in opposite directions.
on one hand you gain meter faster than normal
on the other hand you gain meter in a normal fashion but utilize less when doing moves that require that meter
neither one seems to have the advantage here to me.
which is why one of my presets will be 2 onslaughts and a proficiency - I dub it MOAR METER!
Keep in mind too that anytime I talk about gems Iām referencing the gems that come with the game, no pre-order/DLC non-sense. As those come out there will inevitably be gems more worthy than others regardless of a playerās āplaystyleā.
just like COD itāll only be a matter of time before most peopleās āclassesā are quite similar. Because theyāll see what other players are using and theyāll try it out for themselves and see why so many use that set.
Well, at low percentages theyāre pretty much the same, but if you go up to the 50%-60% range, the difference becomes quickly noticable. Hell, the only reason Iām buying the SE is to make sure I get three Proficiency Lv.2 gems.
Onslaught is way better. Firstly, +40% is way better then -10% or -20% usage. but thatās not the main reason. during the active time youād NEED to use your meter got get any effect from the gem, meaning you are forced to use it, which alas limit your playstyle to some extent. otherwise you simply waste the gem-slot.
on the other hand onslaught nets you and advantage throughout the entire active time (if your meter isnāt full allready, in that case you can waste some meter tho), which can be used either during its active time or after it. it also benefits your partner aswell, since you only have one bar.
I guess. Iām just thinking about the training mode possibilities here.
itās the requirement. trust me.
You were faster than my delete post.
Besides, you can just go to the english site and see the same list in english. it says ācountā, and yes, itās how many times you must furfill the requirement to activate the gem.
They answered the question on the unity live stream. Its basically the same thing i said.
Defense would be during the entire duration while reduction takes up so many hits.
