Wow I was thinking of getting a car as soon as I made it over to the tip section of my job… but after hearing 'bout gas raising up again time to get a bike now…I already have a bus pass.
it’s like 3.09 at this one station by my school.
so I says "fux dat!"
car pool that bitch out. me and 3 hot females for real
cheapest gas price around here is 3.30+. and for once i’m happy to say that i dun drive
this man is my hero, for many reasons; his bike riding is only one of them
i got hit by a car the other day and it trashed my vehicle, so i’m riding my commuter bike even more!
ps: gas isn’t getting expensive just because oil execs want cash. it’s getting expensive because production is decreasing while demand increases. gas is never, ever, going to go back down unless we find alternatives. picketing and protesting won’t change that fact.
know what koop… i will have to agree with that thought a year ago damn near…
Proportional to the amount people pay around the world? I doubt it.
$2.79 where Im from, I think it just jumped up to $2.83 this morning. Thank god I drive a little a car with a small tank.

Damn, it’s still under three bucks elsewhere?
hmm once it hits 4$? time to ride the bike and take the bus i guess.
lolz
Yes it is…=(
and people wonder y i never got a car.
right now in hawaii is $3.30 regular
It would be so wonderful if someone just murdered all the big oil execs, or whoever is directly responsible for the prices. In fact, the murders and torture should be broadcast live worldwide. I’d pay for a front row seat, and the sadistic side of my persona would love every fucking minute of it…I might even bust a nut at some point during the event. Then, we all go to the offices/home base/whatever and burn that bitch down, and piss and shit on the rubble…then crush the skeletons of those corposes that are found later.
3.89! This crap needs to end.
Know what the worst part of all this is? Nothing breaks my heart more than hearing a bunch of SUV/giant truck owners torturing themselves over their gas expenses.
Prices here are kind of hovering around $3/gallon (87 grade), but they’re inching up. Gubmint says it’ll never hit $4, but I don’t feel like trusting them too much.
May 15th is the big “no gas” day for all the idiots who believe it’ll make a difference. If they get enough people on board to get prices to temporarily dip, that’ll be a good time to fill up–both spitting in their faces and taking advantage of their efforts at the same time.
really? because if you wanted cash, that is a good way to get it, decrease production on purpose or act like you are so there isnt enough supply to meet demand, then you can increase prices…
im outi

Normally I’d say Yes but, recently I was real tired when filling up and used Premium instead of Regular. I just checked and got 79 miles to 1/8 tank City driving (?!). It was usually about 48 with regular under the same conditions. Highway MPGs are crazy though, 150 to 1/8 tank, regular. My car is a 3.4 liter Chevy 2002 Monte Carlo, maybe it’s made for premium.
Just thought I’d post my results if it helps any other 2 door car owners out there.
But for those of you that drive an SUV or any pick-up bigger than a Chevy S10, I feel sorry for the pwnage that gas is forcing upon many of you.
fortunetly fill up about once a week for 30 bucks on premium, if i run the tank empty then it’s about 40 for a full tank, sucks but doesn’t bother me THAT much. I don’t really have a choice anyway.
