i am hoping fry isn’t messed up from what Leela and Zap did
he should be after what happened in the first episode. maybe i missed something since i stopped watching the movies after the second one but seeing leela and fry like that was a bit jarring and hard for me to swallow.
im hoping Fry and Leela 2.0 come back at some point in the future.
And Zuzu still owes the professor one last wish.

The second ep really did seem the writer’s just wanted to let loose and go balls to walls- literally- about being Comedy Central and have more freedom to be as crude as they want. It efinately wasn’t as good as their earlier eps, but it still beats present day Simpsons and Family guy.
Im really afraid the first two eps will continue down the road of crappiness that the movies paved before them, from what ive read what you guys sayin this seems to be true…

i will be honest, the episodes seemed a little rushed, but I kinda think its cuz the staff hasn’t really been writing Futurama stuff in awhile (aside from the movies), and they’re still feeling themselves out on Comedy Central, as well as trying to get some new viewers by avoiding some of the typical nerd jokes (for now).
I have to admit, V-Giny, and Zapp’s comments about how when you zoom in, things shouldn’t look blurry like in CSI, fucking killed me

Loved the first new episode. The obvious fan service (Fry-fro, Bender dancing etc) was hilarious in and of itself. I also thought it was written very well, nice series of plot twists.
Billy west is still doing the voice right, cuz he has turned down reprising other roles, doug, stimpy at least because he didnt think it was a good idea career wise, so unless he just moneygrabbin right now the shows cant completely suck i guess

That’s what I thought, but yet Fry was willing to have an orgy with Amy though. It felt like Leela raped Zap since Zap changed his mind at the last minute lol.
I thought the first two episodes were pretty good, especially after a long wait.
I went back and watched em again, still fucking hilarious. Everything out of Farnsworth’s mouth is comic gold. And everybody turned down the orgy if you remember. They seemed interested at first, then were all like “naaaaaa”. Amy later came with her outfit on (which she needs to wear more often).
To me it seemed like they were all for the orgy until they looked around and realized that amy was the only chick in a room full of a robot, a lobster, an old man and fry and Hermies.
