or more specifically: can you check if it can beat any of hulk’s or sentinels armored normals (air or ground) when they’re closing in… please :slight_smile:

Howd you feel about getting in with Chun now that she got her air dash nerf and that the game is more zoning oriented, can she till be easily lamed out?

After a normal long combo like in MVC3 she could get wesker to otg and then kikosho can she do it herself now or does hit stun kick in.

How is the kikouanken made easier and its stil double tap , is it easier? I know this my by off topic with chun but can u try frank on point chun second with 2 bars, do a thc and see if u can get a camera shot off before she lunch them up then follow them with a sj to hit them back down.

Her ground approach is still terrible. Her aerial approach is infinitely better since you can harass people who are trying to jump away from you with DP xx Whatever.

It seems like her old combos still work…so I don’t see why the normal Buktooth BnB into OTG xx Kikosho wouldn’t work.

Kikoaken is still double tap. The input is stupid lenient now too so it’s easy to combo.

BTW, I feel like a n00b for just NOW realizing that EX SBK can be done in air…and you can TK it…which means can follow it up.

Oh yeah since she got a damage buff about how much damage does her max damage bnb do now?

I’ll tell you I’m working on something like this right now in theory. I’ll test later:

IAD j.HS, MH xx Kikoaken, st.H, cr.H, Buktooth Loop, st.H, cr.H, S, j.MMH, j.MMHS, falling j.Down M, Air Dash j.H,Air EX SBK xx Legs xx Hyper.

It all works up to the falling j.Down M…obviously. I wanna see if you can get a follow up off a falling j.M air dash j.H. If you can…just how far can you go with it?

I really like IAD j.MS as an opener too. Comes out at minimum air dash height and has better horizontal range. j.HS is still great for raining down on people though.

DP = dragon punch = shoryuken motion = :dp: = Tenshokyaku (upkicks) in Chun’s case

Thought so but wat can u do after a dp (upkicks) i’ve nvr seen that approach before. So u do DP wiff it and ?? after? And thats in umvc3 alone right…

You can jump out of it. You can attack out of it. You can air dash out of it. You can air throw out of it. You can DP again out of it. You can SBK out of it. You can Lightning Legs out of it.

What more do you need?

I wonder if Strider and Chun-Li would work well together. I kinda feel like using my old MvC1 peeps again… :china:

He’s a meter hog with 2 L3’s, and I assume she can at least still build meter as well as she did in vanilla 3.

Instant air dash. Unless i’m really mistaken, you just the input the air dash command immediately after the super jump command.

Good stuff. Maybe one day we can do Chun mirrors online.
