A couple more tomes for my Relic +1 too! I still haven’t tried Coil yet, but I’m obviously ready gear-wise. (The rest of my slots are Darklight, I took pic before I put on Darklight gloves)

Real talk fam same for me with the dark steel haubergeon. Recipe needed dark steel ingot which you need coke for. You need 9 of em shits go for 40-45k a pop.

Stats wise with my materia it’s actually better than the dark light chest piece. But boy oh boy did I pay but I do love the way it looks.

Fuk man sorry to hear I’ll run some with you. My all time record is 0-33. My last run I had my weapon hidden and don’t you know some bitch ass dragoon says marq unhide ur wep cause you might not have the wep for this.

I said bitch lock on my character and examine. tank says shit he’s got his relic. I then said dude I’m here to help others obviously I don’t need it.

He said nothing else lol. I wish the wep dropped cause I would have greeded on it so hard!!!

This shit was expensive. For all of that, you need 45 Animal Fats, which cost 125 tomestones of philosophy each. I farmed maybe a third of them and bought the rest with gil at about 40k per fat. Beyond that, the crit materia especially is about 30k for a rank 3 and 10k for a rank 2, the determination materia is similarly around 20k/10k. The first slots are 100% meld, but the 3rd is 35%, 4th is like a 20% chance, and 5th is around 10-13%, so I wasted an additional few hundred thousand in failed materia melds. BUT it’s good as hell and better than all the Darklight by far. Now I get to look forward to replacing it with Allagan and /facepalming lol. But even still it’s comparable with a lot of it, plus I can convert it into materia eventually to get some return on profit. Still gotta work on the last two materia slots on ring, but it’s so damn expensive and crit materia is through the roof.

So apparently all servers will be open for free transfers in mid-October.
Honestly, me and ShadyK are thinking about running a late night group (11pm-3am PST).
If anyone wants to join and COMMIT and not back out halfway down the line, and are skilled, you are more than welcome.
We’re on Turn 5 getting her down to 40% consistently with our group, but in our minds things COULD be better if our guild would listen to me and ShadyK about what we see on the boss.

I need tips for the second and third bosses in Qarn.

For the second, it seems like it’s inevitable that a dps is going to die. I would raise the dps guy after the boss’s soulstone was destroyed, but by the time they got up, they would get one-shotted and die again.

For the third boss. I have no idea of where to stand to avoid all that laser fire when four, or how ever many it is, start going off at the same time.

Wait what? Why are your DPS dying on the stone golem?

As for the lasers, just MOVE out of the blue line lol. No real safe place I just stand behind the main boss near the tank, that you won’t accidntally get locked in with the dps who are destroying needles. As for the dps, I just hit then w regen whenever they in out, to ensure they stay near full health.

Now as for Coth comment about ACN not having any AoE, you can do gladiator to flash, and spam flash with ACN.

They die because they don’t know how to move out of aoe. They typically stand there like statues. Ran it again, and dps couldn’t comprehend killing the bees ASAP during trash pulls. Tank died four times because of Final Sting. I saw the writing on the wall, said ggpo and got out of there. It sucks sitting in queue for an hour and getting a PUG that won’t listen.

As for the lasers, I don’t know what’s up with my camera, but when I get near a wall it zooms in and I see blue everywhere. I’m just gonna hang near the tank.

I am 0-and 25 I believe it was. A bard walked into our party for an ifrit round, and walked out with his ifrit weapon, I raged quit so hard after that even Louis woulda looked at me like I had 6 heads.

really you should not be having any trouble with the second boss, if dps are standing in the big red lines of death odds are they aren’t going to fare well vs. the 3rd. I’ve seen multiple strats for the 3rd boss (killing lasers, leaving lasers, etc etc). the most efficient way really is just zoom your window out, dodge lasers, have DPS kill the needles that spawn in the black squares and tanknspank from thereon. Dodging lasers is NOT hard.

Also warrior salt is pretty delicious, I’ve successfully tanked everything I’ve come across.

Underlined and bolded the most important thing here. A lot of people do not FULLY zoom out their cameras when playing in instances. Why? That’s asking for failure right out the gate.

Oh yea we tested to see if you could kill the first boss of AK before he summons the mindflayer, he sits at 1HP until the void call finishes

Dam fam thought nobody was even getting close to my 0-33 before my relic and 0-4 after my relic. But hey I got that ifrit Sch wep lol like ill ever play that smh.

Id say take a lil break from it then if you want ill run a few more with you. The only other way to get a better wep would be to rank up your Grand company. Those lv 50 weps are pretty decent.

The main task will be beat AK which you have done and clear the rank 2 hunting log your with the Flames right? Ill help with the hunting log marks if you need it, the ones outside of the dungeons shoot i think i have to kill some things in cutters cry I never did that hahahaha

Now i sorta need to run cutter cry with Sacred.

But i say take a break from ifrit and do other things. that the only way to keep the morale up for ifrit when your wep is not dropping.
