I read in a Squeenix interview that realm transfers won’t be offered for up to 3 months from now. Ouch. That’s extremely disappointing, since my friends and I all got split up with expectations that it’d be less than a month (as mentioned in a different, previous interview, IIRC) so we went ahead with leveling separately thinking that we’d meet up somewhere during mid-game. Q_Q #firstworldproblems #whitewhine etc etc.
Anyway, the game is pretty great. I’m glad it turned out as well as it did - here’s to hoping they can keep it interesting in endgame and in expansions.
SMDH world transfers should be smooth and easy. We really should have that option all the time. Shit even between jp and na/eu servers. Na/eu down no problem world transfer from mog station boom im up on jp servers not losing any game time.

That’s the list, I’m going to continue to keep it a a definitive five level gap. there are some Tiers however that have a fuzzy gap between them and the lower eschelon, and those have text requirements for those that need to know how long until they reach a certain tier. Obviously this doesn’t reflect player skill, so no beta you put away your I"MDABES mixtape right now, etc. etc.
From what’s sitting in front of me, I can say that The punisher, and Tah’al will be shooting up to about Marquis and Atkasha’s current standing, and by then those two should be at or encroaching on beta and minerva’s tier, Provided both Punisher and Tah’al have the time to continue playing at the pace they are or better, and that’s not forgetting Cawi who is spacing out exp to different areas, same as KDude, both of those guys I’m projecting to be moving up soon. by then we should have enough people to start crushing the real game stuff. Slade is waiting in the shadows till the servers come back up. Shinozaki, hasn’t finished moving yet, and the rest of the crew I don’t really have the slightest clue of what they are up to.

To whats being discussed now I probably have 90+ allowances. Just I can’t use any of them for fishing unless I get another class that high. I might start mining, but I would need another retainer. I probably have 160/175 slots full on the current one.

XIV always has some sort of exp exploit. The worst was in patch 1.19 when exp gains didn’t take into account the level of your other party members. We had 7 people afk overnight in a cave while one guy AoE’d a bunch of mobs on a 50 Warrior. People swapped doing this for like a week and everybody hit 40 on every class. Then, you finish it off at Natalan Wolves for like 300k exp/hr while spiritbonding the crap out of gear.
People think Fate is bad at least you actually have to play the game.
