Fuck that clock!!! Lmao my firends were watching me crack the Matrix code and was like damn bro for reals!! I was like yep these stage 4 ones get rid of those 5’s and 1’s early cause they will screw you.
Thanks so basically don’t fuck with them until my shit says 160/160. Well are you close to all fragments? I would like to know the perks of those weapons.
I was running Odin blade/Odin bolt. They are very good once you have all 160 fragments. 40 + 100 (for having 100% of fragments) + 80 bonus (for having all fragments) = 220 for both strength and magic. It’s pretty well rounded overall. The synthesis ability isn’t overly useful though (Debuff duration I believe).
Honestly you already got people complaining about the DLC so you’re not in the minority but its optional so its whatever. I’ll get it just for Lightning later. The Episode DLC is what i’m really looking forward.
Goddamn all you guys have beaten the game alreadyD: I gotta get playing!
Thats how i feel Im only on ep 4 but My characters are almost maxed out. Im having too much fun w/infusion. I think imma lock in and progress the story i get so side tracked once i see new monsters im just like oh what does he do etc.
Time to experiment next thing 3 hours have gone by and i have over 100k cp again lol.
Oerba 400 AF is the bane of my existence.
Don’t feel bad, I’m only right around the second half of episode 3, just finished catching up and reminiscing with Hope, Hope’s bitch aka Alyssa, and all that jazz.
And about those Scenario DLCs, they’ll let us play the character that the scenario is centered around right? Just trying to make sure.
I wanted to throw my controller at my tv after playing that level.
anyone follow any good walkthrus on YouTube ?
The Strategy guide is a god send.
I regret not getting it. I was about to start infusing monsters until I read the gamefaqs guide on it. It’s so damn confusing, I feel like I’m taking a class and learning formulas for a test. Red locks, yellow locks, ability ranks, etc. Gimme a fuckin’ break. They couldn’t have just made this simpler to understand.
Yeah they break it down much better in the guide. Funny thing is the guide actually encourages you on where to grind at spots during the main campaign.
When I first saw Mog in trailers I absolutely hated the way he/she looked. I still didn’t like it as I played…until I got to the part where you learn how to throw him/her. It makes the cutest noises I’ve ever heard in my lifeD:
Kupoooooooaaaaa!
Huzzah. Just picked up both Lightning and Amodar. They both have 6 atb levels. Their feral link is Army of one and Iron bear claw. Gonna have figure out what I want to infuse them with.
I still think Chichu is better then Amodar from my limited time playing with him. Amodar is kinda sluggish in his attacks, although he’ really racks up damage on enemies that are launched.
Ok, can someone explain infusion to me. This should not be that difficult, but SE managed to make it a fucking mission to understand.
Here’s a link with the ‘popular’ passive abilities and what levels the monsters learn them at. http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/53144/t1713959-abilities-infusion/
So if I pick 10 that I want my Chichu to have, I can’t just level up the monster with that ability and infuse him into Chichu, can I? Because that monster will have other passive abilities that I may not want that will infuse to him? So fucking stupid the way they made this system.
I also read on the gamefaqs guide that its easier to use a filter monster to infuse the abilities to the monster you wanna pimp out. They mentioned mud frog as the filter because it has 5 red locks, still don’t understand what the difference is.
Any help would be much appreciated.
From what I’ve read Amodar only really shines in battles where you can launch the enemy. Since chichu can’t jump Amodar runs circles around him on a launched enemy.
I have the guide but fam its not that hard. certain monsters have passive abilities and some have abilites you can’t pass. Whatever you see on a monster that is red with the lock symbol that ability can’t be passed. What you see in the white can be passed.
So example:
You have Chichu okay. You see Tonberry has 35% str and magic at lvl 24. You level up Tonberry to lvl 24. Now when you check his passive ability you see in the white 35% str and magic. Now you can infuse him into Chichu
The menu will say Chichu is gonna consume Tonberry and be enhanced w/35% str and magic.
So using the faqs you found just pick what white passive skill you wanna move, there are other abilities
that come over too that are role specific i belive like enfrost, enfire, etc. when you move a passive ability some monsters they will let you move at least 2 of that monsters specific ability like enfrost, blindside, siphon etc.
Basically just work with white text P.A.'s you want. Like i do the infusion shit all the time for fun.
Take immortal who uses lightning based attacks. I infused Zwerg’s lightning resistance 35% or 45% something like that on my 3 monsters that came w/me to fight. The result was Immortal and his blade getting curb stomp’d like nobody’s business lol.
whatever faqs you’re checking should show the level that you need to get that monster to before you infuse them to the monster you want to fight with you.
I haven’t started looking into it that deeply yet but heres what I’m getting when I read the faq:
-
Red locks makes it so that said abilities will never transfer over and will remain on that monster forever.
-
Yellow locks makes it so that it gets put into a new tier higher above normal abilities. For example, say you got something like +30% HP as the 10th skill and you still need to infuse your monster with something else. You yellow lock it by finding a monster with a 10% HP skill or any skill of that same kind. So with that locked, it pushes that up on the list so its safe from being truncated.
The reason why I think they use a mud frog as filter is because its much easier to deal with extra unwanted abilities since it only has 5 slots available, making the elimination of unwanted abilities easier to deal with before finally bring it over to the monster you want to have all your shit on.
