also does the color of the chocobo matter? like I have a white chocobo (medic) is there any difference between a white and green color one?
I know the red chocobo(COM) is stronger than the default color chocobo(COM)

They said they would have DLC for characters in the Final Fantasy universe. They might have just meant the FFXIII universe, but they didn’t specify.
Ah…That would be cool if they mined the whole series. But that’s a good idea so I doubt they will.

I haven’t played the game yet, because I won’t have it until Thursday, but as far as I know, the DLC characters are just Monsters technically. I don’t see why you couldn’t use them in the normal story.
You can use any of the DLC monster crystals in the regular story mode.
So I just beat the Gigantuar, finally after leveling up some. It said it unlocked something, but I was on the phone and couldn’t hear what it was. I assumed it was that gate in the arch steppe that mog says is different than the others, but it wasn’t. Anyone know what beating him unlocks? Or is it just that you get his crystal?
Looks like Sahz’s Episode is due out end of the month.
There are 3 Gigantuars and beating all 3 unlocks that gate you’re talking about.

Soooo I started trying to go after fragments instead of advancing the story and its kind of annoying.
I got to Oerba (the sand one and then the snow one) and those Temporal Rifts are the WORST FUCKING IDEA ever. They’re not fun, they’re not challenging, they’re a waste of time and are completely tedious. And jeee, let’s do about 100 of them. I’d love to see a picture of the dumbass who thought this would be a good idea.
I have about 40 hrs and 97 fragments collected. Hope to play a little more today.
Are you guys only leveling up Chichu with ‘power’ materials? I have him at level 36 with mostly power, but his HP is only around 2500 and I’m thinking I should give him some vitality.

Apparently for COM it’s always a good idea to just use ‘power’ materials. The difference in str is pretty large, especially when you factor in the bonuses from Strength +X%. Given that materials are a total PITA to get and the game is pretty easy so far, It might not actually matter that much.
I’m only at episode 4, though, so things might change later.
Unfortunately Power materials are very difficult to farm. I give ChiChu power materials anytime I can, but potent materials are so much easier to farm so I give him those for the most part.
No worries. I only level him him power but will eventually use a build for chichu that infuses him with an HP+30%. Using only power items really adds up. I think I read he difference between all potent and all power is like 200-300 str. in the end for chichu.

Beat the game a couple of days ago…this sort of sums up my thoughts of the ending ATM-

At any rate, off to get Fragments, win Chocobo races, and do some grinding~
Overall I’d say the game had some nice concepts (I personally liked the Anamoly puzzles…except the timed Clock puzzles that change everytime you restart).
LMAO at Square Enix, again I was brain storming all the cool ass peeps that could be in the coliseum and I swear they need me on the dev team.
What struck me as funny is the fact that they take a human character away ok get this then these greedy fukks make us pay a few dollars for human characters LMFAO.
Like I know im in the minority but I like lightning so once i saw that i could have her in my party again i stayed there until i got her crystal. Maxed her out and me and my team run those ff13-2 streets now.
I cant put this game down Im still testing infusion set ups i need to just beat it so I can continue my research lol.
If i was on that dev team there would be new coliseum battles every friday. Not just humans but monsters as well.
Oh ?uestion anybody have the Odin Blades? Are they really good. Also what weapons you guys think are better the +50 atb weapons or the Chain Bonus 5 weapons? I’m running Indrajit for Serah and Noel with Grasitha, I was running Romulus and Remus and the speed was nice but I see to be more efficient with my current set up.
One gripe about the game is accesories: Please square let me equip 4 accesories.
I like being able to negate damage when Im maxing out characters.
I like the +50% atb weapons myself. I have the odbinblade/bow and they’re supposed to be really strong when you have all the fragments.
