What’s is that suppose to be after it ‘transform’? We got Horse, car, bike, castle, fighter…What about Vanille? A…walking Gatling guns? [/details]
Getting 5 stars increases the chance of getting a Rare drop by 5x (five times).
Getting 0 stars increases the chance of getting a Shroud (the -sol items) drop by 8x (eight times).
i think he is referring to the star rating that you get for the missions. your explaining how the stars effect drops from battles, but so far i havn’t seen an effect the rating has on the mission rewards.

The tower is easily the worst part of the game imo. This place just irritates me.
I’ve done 8 missions now and feel ready to move on before it gets boring, I think I’ll do 2 more before I go forward. I do want to take on the Bememoth and Wolf a couple of times first though.

When you guys reach Oerba…take the time to find all 5 repair parts for Vanile’s robat pet. You get over 600k gil if you do in the form of Platinum Ingots and stuff.

i’m on disc 3. im like maybe 30-40 hours into the game. the first 20 hours seems very linear even for a FF game, and i’m at that part after the l’cie training area and i just got fangs’ summon. I think i’m in lower cocoon? dunno.
what i wanna know is , is this game gonna end soon? it feels like things are just getting started, and i’m on disc 3.

what are the best accessory combinations in the game and why?
Finally beat the chapter 10 mid-boss. Fuck that guy. Got a lucky stagger as he was about to use Seraphic Ray a second time and burned him down to 10k health before the stagger was over.
So what are the good weapons to upgrade for each character? Lionheart for Lightning, and what for specifically Hope/Fang? List every character if you can though.
So aside from getting/not getting 5 star rating missions, it doesn’t do anything other than get an achievement. I’m assuming you can re-do the missions for 5 stars to get it though.
Also, what’s an L1 item/shroud?
Ok Im starting to get pissed off so I’m gonna come on here and ask first, Im on Ch.11 and Mission 4 I accept the mission I think its the first teleport l’Cie and it shows the mission mark as just a couple paces away i go to it and it disappears and idk wtf to do…I can see who im supposed to fight right here http://www.gamesradar.com/f/final-fantasy-xiii-cieth-stone-missions-guide/a-2010031011391394090 but they arent at the mission start…am I missing something here?
the star just points you in the direction your supposed to go, you have to follow that path it sent you on for quite a ways before you will find the actual mark. and unfortunately it wont show up on the map till your in the section of that zone with the mark in it.
Gran Pulse is such a great change of pace. I’m gonna hate it when i have to leave. Speaking of which, does it lock the missions at a certain point? I’m on mission 5 right now.
I only did 2 missions + the mandatory ones in the tower. Close to finishing the game, so I’ll do all that shit post-game instead.
Been rolling with Light/Fang and Hope every single time except for the Chap 11 boss; switched to Light/Sazh and Vanille.
It was long as shit omg. But I still enjoyed it, it’s not as bad as Pharos tower in FF12.
I had the same problem then I zoomed out on the map and saw that the star was in fact much farther.
Yeah I feel stupid but yeah I easily get irritated sometimes
