I cant front I love this game, checked my trophies 96% about to plat when i get home. I need to beat the game and see the secret ending. 160/160 fragments. The best trophy for me {ps3} was 10,000 steps w/a chocobo. I swear i only used that bird like four times maybe. I thought my game was broke cause i set some vice grips on my controller and had the chocobo running in circles.
I came back after an 2 hours and was like shit no trophy yet? So while running back to the nomad camp the trophy lit up. I was like hell yea!!. I grinded so much that the from my bestiary I was only missing a black chocobo and Tezcatlipoca had no clue he was on that platform to the right where Xolotl and Miquizti spawn in Academia 500AF.
It’s so crazy that 13-2 Im about to plat and ff13 Im only at 70% trophies. I was too busy trying to 5 star hunts lol.
Once I plat Im just gonna build monsters all day err day!! err until resident evil racoon city drops lol. Where’s Versus 13?? Get to work Nomura!!!
the only thing that I liked about him was that he also dropped kaiser knuckles. Instead of trying to get them to drop from Proto Behemoth (who didn’t seem to drop anything when its summoned so you only had the 1 spot at the end of af500 where he’d spawn and you’d had to rewind the clock and get all the way to the end to even fight him).
Im in the same position as you with regards to FF13, however i did 5 star all hunts. I think thats was the most rewarding trophy. But maxing out my weapons and getting all accessory is BS, hunting giants turtles that drop maybe 1 platnium ingot every hour is plain annoying. I can manage the annoy stuff in FF13-2. So now im stuck at 80% trophy completion for FF13.
Yo know but actually there isnt really any annoying trophies. The most annoying fragment is maybe lucky 7 coin. but if you just tape your controller down like i did mine in 2 hours I had that fragment. I think i had it sooner because i watched the slots hit the jackpot for 1500 coins then the 5000 coins. I started with 28,000 coins and left it autoplay for 2hours.
Grinding in 13-2 was hella fun for me cause I made a sport out of infusing monsters just to test skill set ups.

13-2 brought the fun back the only fucked up shit really is the accessories cap. please let me rock a ribbon with other shit, I worked hard to max out my team I take pride in negating damage. On top 4 slots so its like you can only rock 1 cool item then a boring one.
QFT. What made that worst was I cleared the trails so lost 2 of the 3 turtles turned there ass into gui longs in achtyle steppe. After 1 kill i have to reset. wtf
At first i was iffy with mob being 3 character, but its pretty fun like raising a pokemon.
for everyone struggling to get their hands on casino coins, sazh expansion is where it is at. specifically the poker table, the computer ai has some very exploitable weaknesses:
you can very easily tell when the computer has no hand to play because it will check it’s way into the flop.
most of the ai’s have a hard breaking point on how high they will see the bet go, if you use rule 1 and push them when they don’t have a hand the ai folds A LOT.
the computer will ALLWAYS play the cards in the flop. so if you have a good pocket and a pair or something hits the flop understand that the computer is almost always betting purely off those cards.
anyways the 10k and 100k buy ins are very easy to score quick cash, i won the 100k buy in game in like 30 minutes or less and am sitting on a stack of 530k coins… after buying like 30 librascopes and all the fragments for seren.

How many hours have you guys logged into the game? I’m at Acedemia 500 (the final place right?) and I’ve only played around 26-27 hours. I thought it would take me at least 40 to get to end game. I was hoping it’ll take me at least 90-100 hours to get everything. I’m not using any FAQs either, so that should extend the game a bit.
I’m at 45 hours and like 8 monster off the last and final bestiary fragment. This game is really short compared to 13 (took me 80 hours the 1st time and 60 hours the 2nd time to plat 13… yes I did it twice don’t’ ask…)
Tisk Tisk Beta when the game drops in price You should pick it up, you would enjoy it. Square decided to bring the lovely coliseum back from FF6. So thats the way they are doing DLC in this game. We get side story DLC and coliseum battles. You beat whoever in the coliseum then you have a chance to capture their crystal and have them on your team.
I read that we could get some Monsters in the future like gilgamesh but anytime you hear any thing about him I always take it w/ a grain of salt.
Pretty good time wise. I read on gamefaqs that some guy said he platted the game in 30 hours I called bullshit so hard. Forced him to make a vid which he didn’t. I asked him how long did it take him to max the roles and he couldn’t answer any of that.
Now using the guide and just being hardcore i could see platting the game in 50-70hrs. Only if you build one medic, one sent, one rav, one commando. Like don’t focus on anything else just build your team asap then go from there.
I have over 100 hours because well Im a beast with infusing the monsters lol. I farm just to test a speed build a power build pretty much i have monsters for every situation even tho i dont roll with them in my main group.
