VIII is a bigger number than VII, that means it’s better… :arazz:
Just picked up Advent Children in Blu-Ray.
Movie is hot in 1080p on my Panasonic 50" plasma. :nunchuck:
I’m completely on board with you on XII. Absolutely love the game. One of my top 3 FF games. The only parts I absolutely can’t stand in the game, is Archades (I hate chops) and the spamming of “I am Bash!”. Game seriously could have done better without those two parts.
I absolutely loved the angle the story provided, being very political, instead of the run of the mill main stay we seem to always see in RPG’s.
I loved XII as well, don’t feel it was a “watered” down anything(It’s one of my favorites along with IX and VIII). Really, I don’t see the point in crying about it being numbered. Does it being online not interest you? Don’t buy it. Last I heard XIII and Versus XIII are single player games still. I’m excited for it since this will be SE’s chance to take what they did well with XI and fix all the problems it had.
I prefer the idea of FFXIV having a fee… is it a subscription based fee? If so, I think it would be for all the better. I’ll be picking it up for the PC when it releases, if Lineage III isn’t released first… by the looks of things, that doesn’t seem likely.
how did you like it?
Real? How many discs?
Fake. Looking over their website, ESRB hasn’t rated the game yet. Plus, no FF has ever gotten an M rating before.
Cool…
I’m going to say it:
Final Fantasy XII is the best in the series.
I will now hide in a hole away from flaming rocks.
Most MMO’s are subscription based, and this being the predecessor of XI, I see it following in the same footsteps. I’m all for paying a sub fee for secure servers, continuous added content, and continuous bug fixes etc.
Right now, I’m leaning towards PC as well, unless they somehow work a way for friends and Linkshells to create their own voice comm rooms on the PS3. Ventrilo is just too valuable of an asset to lose.
Repped
XII what you smoking? it’s IX all the way.
Yeah, it’s fake. ESRB generally doesn’t rate games until they’re well past the beta stage (because beta is where a game is supposed to have all its content implemented, and ESRB needs to see it all). When I spoke with some of my friends from Square Enix, I was told that the game has not even entered test yet, which implies to me that it’s still pre-alpha.
Just finished ACC. Much better than the original. All the little extra scenes helped a lot in the understanding of the storyline and how certain stuff happened. New ending song is hot, too.
And the last bit at the very end, after the credits.
/salute
Loved every minute of it. It really was a complete movie. Everything was explained and the Sephiroth battle was way better than the original. I actually showed this movie to a friend who never even played the game and he understood the movie for the most part.
I don’t think anyone can complain about the movie anymore. Its just nitpicking at this point.
Agreed 100%
Was the fighting any better?
I hated the inconsistent physics you got with the fighting.
…and the jump.
They only added they didn’t subtract. And whats The jump?
The jump is Cloud + jumppads vs Bahamut.
About the fights, I hated how sometimes they’d float down, sometimes tehy’d zoom down, etc. Also didn’t like how almost nothing did any discernible damage whatsoever.
I’ll check it out anyway. If nothing else, I loved the visual quality.
Oh. No the Jump up tp Bahamute is still there. Though there’s no way it would work I still like it. Teamwork lol. The gravity does kind of do it’s own things. It personally only bugs me during the bike chase and thats mostly when Loz jumps off his bike to punch Cloud at the beginning of the chase. For no reason at all his bike falls behind him so that he is able to jump back on it. It looks funny. The rest pretty much doesn’t bother me.
Cloud gets pretty tore up in this movie visually now though. It’s gone from being a question of “why does it seem like he’s not hurt at all” to “How does he live through that?”
