Man Xplay really ripped into Crisis Core. They gave it a 2 out of 5. Seems as though they really didn’t take the time to play it.

What the EFFFF!!! So I just “acquired” FFXll the other day and have been playing it. So far the fighting system blows hot shit. I thought they were supposed to make it more action-e or something. You basically just sit there and watch them get hammered and then strike. The art style is ok and the story is nothing special…so im really dissapointed BIG time!
It is more action-oriented.
i bought ff x randomly how long would it take to beat the game? its been a while since i took alot of time just to play a game, is it addictive? from what i remember when my friend played it it seemed dope especially that you could control eh summons? not too sure. but he got tight that he couldnt beat some guy named seymour. almost every day he said that haha.

i found a game shop that had alot of retro things like old nes, snes, and every other games up even some rare ones.
i was gonna look for ff7 but it wasnts there( doubt you can find it in any store anymore) so i saw dreamcast games and saw one of my faves that i never finished.

this game was one of my faves but i never got to far since my dreamcast got destroyedaz years ago before i got a new one for practice.
i thought “dope its ten bucks nice”. before i went to pay i saw evolution and evolution 2 in a glass case with a bunch of other games. those were for 40 and 35 respectively, they were also brand new.
the one i had had a broken case and several scratches. but it was used so what.
i go to pay. and the guy at the register looks at it says : where did you get this"’ I said in teh back with the other used games.
he said he couldnt sell it to me because it was a 40 dollar game. are you fucking serious? a use scratched game for 40? i felt ripped off and got incredibly tight since he gave me an attitude and told me i changed the price tag so it could show it had a ten dollar price.

FFX is maybe a 30 hour game. Maybe. If you do all the side shit it’s like 80. If that.
Wakka should be in your party at all times once you get attack reels.
Same with Yuna once she gets Magus Sisters.
Third character is whoever. I used Rikku come end game. But before that I usually used Auron cause of Shooting Star.
I liked X my first couple plays through. I still play it every now and again. But it’s just off my 100% file. Pretty much all I do is play blitzball. Shit is way too fun.
As for X’s characters? I actually liked everyone. Which doesn’t normally happen. But my 3 favorite characters were Wakka/LuLu/Seymour. Everyone else I just kinda tolerated.
quick question, i stopped playing 12 but i might pick it up again, im at that tower where you cant use items or magic or physical attacks… about how far am i in the game?

well, ff12 is unique because its the only ff I know, rpg for that matter, where all the side stuff takes twice as long as the real story.
So in terms of the story, your basicly at the end. In terms of the game itself, you are barely 1/3 the way through.
I am at 75hrs right now, ( I leave the game on while doing stuff sometimes but not very long) and there are still 3 places that I havent beat.

Since I have been playing the last couple months, I am happy this thread is here.
I felt the main story and game was really weak, short and lacking of content and thus the game is not very good. All the extra side stuff more than makes up for it though and has me impressed and nejoying this game
My biggest complaint with the game though is the absolute lack of equipment usage/enjoyment which is my favorite part of ff.
I have spent 20hrs at the end of the game with basicly the exact same equipment because there is a huge lack of interesting/usable accesories, and you have to go through hell to get any of the REALLY good weapons/armor and when you do its pointless because you have beat everything…
I’d like more usage of my stuff but whatever.
Can anyone learn from FF6’s equip system btw?? Its 2008, shouldnt customizable acessory combinations (ala 2 slots) be standard by now just to make the game more interesting? Espers are kind of useless in ff12 too…
