Only problem with breakstorm invincibility is that its all before it hits. Which is sad : ( Yeah I would never use his p-power.

after a jump in C you just walk forward a bit a do a standing A into super, i always hit that. so everytime your in the red and dont havbe ppower you just replace mst of your combos with the spower.

same for mai. p.s. my mai is dangerous as well. if she gets in the red, spower combo easily through the d+A, A to d+C strong to super. easy and does even more damage than her longest non s/ppower corner combo by far. in the combo you can even break the d+A,A, d+C into a feint and do another d+A, d+C into super. her only downfall is she doesn’t do a lot of damage in her combos. and her anti air are questionable. A+B isn’t too bad, and qcb+C ain’t all that either. too bad she lost her d-u+C move from rbs. that was the shit.

also big, you CAN do another Qcf+A or even the QCB+BC move (loading till the third level of duck dance) after the 11 hit version. there is a method to it, dont know quite how though. its just that the 5 hit version is the best as none of use seem to know how to do the 10 hit version and still juggle after it. but even the 10 hit version did only jabs worth of damage more, so doing the 5 hit is good enough for us duck players.

yamazaki snake cancel instead of feint cancel. meaning you get more time to do something as it is faster than any normal feint of the game. didnt try it yet, my ps2 pads aint all that. will try it though. you can walk quite the distance it seems.

Just finished up playing a series of matches against FullMetalRoss. Good games, man. :bgrin: You have the beginnings of a good Duck King. You do a lot of moving around, which is very important. You hit me with the Break Storm a few times too, although I can tell that you’re still getting used to using it. Don’t forget to use the Duck Ball (the A-Version) a bit more often, it’s easily the best special Duck has, and it’s a great harrasser. Also, the :u:, :d:+:snkd: from the backplane is excellent for movement and potential Break Spiral setups.

And also, remember to use the Duckball :qcf:+:snka: for Break Spiral setups. This is a very effective tool if you make sure that your Duckball stops right in front of your opponent. The recovery is so short that you can go into the Break Spiral very fast.

Yeah I know about those… I was trying to get it down against the compy, but they always hit me afterwards…

Can you breakshot ducks DP? I can’t seem to get it.

Is there any use for the knee? It looks like it’s punishable even on hit… though maybe not when used as a breakshot.

The matches against Mr.Big were good, learned alot of stuff. Just have to keep on the offensive the right way and learn the oki games.

Anti-airing Blue Mary is hard.

Unfortunately Duck’s Break Storm isn’t breakshottable, but his Duck Balls (:lol:) and the Dancing Dive is (the knee).

The Dancing Dive (in pretty much every other version) is an awesome move: fast, good priority, damage, range, and the first hit is low.

Unfortunately it doesn’t have the first low-hit in RB2, and the followup doesn’t always come out consistantly (might he even be at frame disadvantage if it connects? :wonder:).

Mary probably relies more on oki games more than anyone else in the game in order to be effective (especially with how many of her moves are oki setups). The really tricky thing about anti-airing her is that she’s 100% invincible to from the time she starts the Dangerous Spider (the followup from her Young Dive), and has very little recovery once she lands. The one truly safe escape from her oki games it to backdash, but that can be easier said that done.

p.s. is it just me or my ps2 pad. any yamazaki players out there? i was trying the snake cancel out during practice yesterday. for some reason either my triangle button isn’t that good, or my timing is really off. it doesn’t come out. either he does the snake tamer or i gotta keep on pressing triangle so he does actually cancel it, but it makes him cancel slower. any help?
