any1 have any frame traps?? I tried “making” some, but when I tested on myself I was able to jab out of all of em…
I’ve been using Hugo and Lili. I like putting her second cause she does some really good follow-up damage. Yet, Hugo is such a powerhouse with the damage he deals on to others. In just two short combos I can take out Law’s whole life bar quickly. Big deal. It’s Hugo, right? Either way, I’m liking this team.

Who have you guys been pairing her up with?
She can target just about any frame gap, primarily with st.LP, st.LP xx st.MP, and cr.LK as starters with a whole slew of options available to target whatever your need is. There’s nothing wrong with straight up st.LP spam, as easy as that is.
I’ve been using Nina on point. They compliment each other decently; Nina has a strong mid-range footsie game with a good counter-poking and buffer poking game and acceptable AAs, though extremely range dependent. She can tag Lili in off of any hit limb for heavy damage and only 1 bar, allowing Lili to come in with a bar or two at the ready since Nina doesn’t really get exceptional use out of meter compared to meterless combos. Nina does have some difficulty against zoners, however, and her mix-up potential up close, while of course advantageous, is far from the scare that most Tekken characters instill.
Lili’s excellent AAs, up-close pressure, anti-zoning specials, and meter reliance make it so Lili can come in and hopefully cover whatever Nina fell to, or just continue the combo and be in.
All in all I don’t know if Nina is as good a fit as some other characters could be, by virtue that Nina isn’t a derpy character and high+ tier. I feel any character who can get in or score a knock down reliably on the opponent while building meter is naturally a good fit.
When i used her, i had her with steve, just because thats the only other character i used at the time. But both are WAY too heavy on meter and neither are great on point…infact the two are almost identical in playstyle XD
Just encountered a glitch where I threw Rolento with Lili, killing him, but instead of the normal throw animation she slithered like a snake underneath him then disappeared, and only reappeared a second or two after the screen returned to neutral from the throw. It seems Capcom forgot the “th” at the end of Lili’s name …
what? was that a one-off or dfoes it happen everytime you kill rolento with a throw?
yo, i found the real life lili.

Just a little something I did on purpose. >_>;
…want
Hmm, my biggest problem with Lili is how easy it is to run from her. Say the opponent has a good life lead, and is using a character with moderate walk speed and starts walking back, and there are 20ish seconds left on the clock. There’s basically nothing Lili can do to catch her opponent, AFAIK, except for EX SL, which if they’re blocking high leaves you at +3 but far out, too far to do any mix-up. I feel like the huge stages make this type of running away extremely effective, and she’s basically useless if she wants to catch up and they’re not cornered/knocked down.
Maybe Feisty Rabbit?
risky shit to do but it may catch them off guard. Ex divine step homes. Jump back then do ex divine step just as you are about to land. Most people won’t see it coming because no lili really uses that move over and over again. If they are jumping away you want to do it asap because you’ll land on them as they are falling and get in for free.
Yeah, the guide’s frame data is a joke. A lot of it is very much wrong. Here’s something I found recently:
LK Sunflower Lance is NOT -6 after one hit. It’s -3, MAYBE -4. I’ve only been able to punish it with a Shoryuken, no jabs, not even Cammy’s 3f jab. It’s weird. I’ve been using it for pressure now. That low->overhead string is too cheap.
EDIT: Pssh, after messing around with it in training mode, it is -4~6, it’s just really awkward to time right.
Hi gang, new Lili fan here
Lili can do a feisty rabbit to pass through the opponent when they are crouching (apologies if known)
cr.mp > cr.mp/cr.mk xx hk feisty rabbit will pass through your opponent (blockstring)
cr.lp > cr.mp xx mk feisty rabbit will pass through
LK feisty rabbit will pass through point blank but I couldn’t find any blockstrings to utilize it in .
This seems a bit useless except if you want to get out of the corner or use it very sparingly to throw off your opponent although they’ll have time to react to it, I haven’t tried it in a real match.
I tried it on Ryu and Heihachi so far, might work on a lot of characters.
I dont know if anyone has already posted this but Lili’s air grab catches backdash, unfortunately its not consistent but if u wanna look like a bad ass and style on someone you can try it. The air grab happens within those few frames you opponent is in the air and it catches them for a nice 160 damage.
I’ve decided to main Lili and Bob,as I know it sounds crazy, but I feel she’s going to kill Dhalsim for free! A counter and a dive kick? He’ll be powerless, muahaha.
Eh, Lili’s has a bit of trouble getting in, and dhalsim is just being dhalsim. Not sure on that
He’s quite easy to react too, well IMO. Plus her counters are strong. But who knows, I might be all wrong!
I think Lili beats Dhalsim really badly.
If he’s happy doing st.hp, you can just do mp counter and you’re instantly in his face and I think there isn’t really any risk doing this at mid/full screen. He could punish you with st.hp but the risk/reward would be in your favour.
He also can’t fireball you since you can just ex divine step. She can close the gap quite well against him and he can’t really do much up close, this is similar to Cammy/Sim in SFIV. He also has 900 health so he’s gonna die quite fast.
It’s kinda like a SRK (her counter) at make range, as you say the most he can get out of it is CRHP. Also, he doesn’t do well with pressure, and I feel Lili has that in an abundance, especially with her High/Low safe on block target combo (Left Right Back Strike LP > f+MP > d+LK), and she has a dive kick, I’ve never seen Sim cope well with those.
