Yea ll the shit they added to 3rd Strike is just mind blowing. The Challenges have relivant challenges in them, the replay system is bonkers. GGPO. Just incredible.
Best $15 most of SRK users will spend all year. Between it and Skullgirls, I’m more hype for DL’d games than actual formal releases this year.
Not a parry fan but I’m buying 3S online for the feature set alone. And to try a parry-less Remy online. Is it a safe bet that most online players have no idea how to deal with low Light of Virtue followed by Cold Blue Kick followed by pseudo-psychic Flash Kicks?
That’s probably a good bet lol.
For Canadians, Futureshop and Bestbuy have an online promotion where you can save money if you preorder some of the games shown at E3. Some games weren’t even at E3 but were on the list. I went to FS and preordered Diablo III, Starcraft II: HotS and PC Skyrim and saved $20 on each.
losing 5% stock because their controller isn’t the highest resolution possible is dumb. I can understand investors getting cold feet because they didn’t like what they saw but really?
I haven’t seen anything throughout the past few days besides the Grand Theft Auto V rumor that turned out to be a bust. We still don’t even have a trailer for this game. LA Noire was in development for awhile and they still had at least 1 trailer out for it.
Keep note guys that the specs on the system aren’t finalized yet. If Nintendo actually plays their cards right they could set themselves up nicely against the more powerful consoles that will be coming later. Development costs for games are at an all time high and they’re only going to get further expensive. What could very well end up happening is what’s going on between Microsoft’s and Sony’s consoles currently where most of the games are developed for 360 and then moved over to PS3 without taking advantage of the system’s extra power. This pretty much means that if Microsoft and Sony don’t want that scenario they’re going to have to cram a good chunk of power into the system.
Really in all honesty though at this point in the industry it’s not going to be how many polygons a character has but what the developers and artists decide to do with that tech. If developers can get their point across on a slightly less powerful system and reap the same if not more profit then rest assured THEY WILL DO IT.
You’re talking double edged sword here. If nintendo does make the console more expensive then yeah that’s going to make less scalpers but that’s also going to lower the demand on the system. Not to mention the more expensive the make it the less of chance they they’re going to be able to keep that casual crowd that they grabbed. They don’t want to scare away the core gamer or the casuals…they want both.
Those worried about friend codes for Nintendo’s next console don’t have to worry about that anymore
Makes sense, considering the 3DS has pretty much scrapped that system too.
