I’m not sure.
I haven’t received my second check either.
I’m resigned to the fact that it was an IRS error and that I will have to select recovery rebate on the 2021 tax form to get the $600 back as a traditional refund.
We don’t know concrete info about the 3rd potential stimulus. It may either be $2000 or $1400.
I’m guessing that rushing to put out the second one by Jan 15 (and over Xmas) caused IRS to make a lot of errors that resulted in many folks not getting theirs.
I received my first one by direct deposit easily in late April 2020 without problem.
I did not change my address or bank info since the first one either.
Factually, this isn’t 100% true though. Maybe in some states, yes, but this is all the more reason for education reform.
Anyway, Biden inauguration tomorrow. Don’t know about you guys, but as soon as he’s sworn in, I’ll be eating some babies and worshipping Satan.

Personally I’m more of a fan of localizing power because it means people can vote with their feet. If they want to live in a place like California, they can, if they want to live in a place like Texas or Tennessee, they can do that too.
The only one size fits all form of government that everyone will be happy with where the leader has a 110% approval rating is something like what North Korea has.
Now that they aren’t in power, I bet the right wing side of the country will start on something like what the left have been on the past 4 years and the left wing enthusiasm will fizzle out now that they don’t have a (real) enemy anymore.
