The tradition of far-right groups to take on pagan and especially norse pagan imagery is as old as the actual Nazis, with the SS logo being actually a couple of “Sig” runes that also look like two “S” to Himmler’s weird neo-pagan racist nazi esoteric ideas. After WW2 is got even more popular because it’s a convenient way to hide blatant nazi imagery while still sending a clear message for those who know.
The idea that a guy who goes as far as tattooing that stuff on himself and also has an history of participating in far-right stuff is actually secretly an Antifa double agent is pretty ridiculous, as the article states, so it all seems pretty reasonable.
Obviously, this is all very unfortunate for all the people who are just interested in paganism and pagan imagery since those are indeed symbols that have no inherent racist meaning by themselves (like the Swastika after all).
