The E3 2020 thread but not really... - Thanks for playing! We will continue at a later date!

So apparently Nintendo fanboys really got in their feelings about the direct that took place that…pretty much delivered what they said it was gonna deliver. Enough so that they review bombed every shin megami tensei game on meta critic and went out of their way to downvote the videos related to the direct to hell.

Didn’t even lnow this was a thing that was happening until a vid by Omni popped up in my feed about it. The entitlement is off the charts.

Wha…what did they think or want to happen?

Based on the stream’s description from the newsletter don’t expect anything exciting. It’s just gonna be a couple of anime titles and mobile shit

So the fanboys shitted over the direct because their was no smash news and nothing first part related…which Nintendo practically put front and center that thats not what this direct was about before it even went up. It’s dumb AF. Like I said in the switch thread, personally I wasn’t even expecting Shin Megami news and we got that but apparently if it ain’t first party nintendo despite them telling you full well in advance what to expect then its shit. This is the same mentality that made 3rd party support a bitch on Nintendo’s consoles in the past.

Smashers continue to be absolute trash. Being a bunch of pedophiles wasn’t enough, gotta be entitled shit stains to

lol at expecting more smash news…a DLC character JUST came out. I never watch those directs anymore because ya’ll here give me the highlights and if something was worth watching, I can check it out later. Just wake me up when we get No More Heroes 3/Bayo 3.

Man I recall the days trying to catch gaming news live. Back in college, I got a janky stream of E3 2004 going on my PC in class. Me in the back ignoring the lesson to see what was going to launch. I believe that was the DS year and I was excited then. Back then You had to work to find a link. Now? everything handed to you when you want and can be replayed anytime.

So that anime live vid is pretty cringey…

Mei Hatsume got announced for My Hero 2, Kakashi got announced for Shinobi Strikers, they showed a new trailer for Captain Tsubasa, and 3 charactesr from whole cake island arc got announced for One Piece Pirate Warriors 4. They also announced some mobile stuff and had a section/interview with one of the guys talking about Scarlet Nexus. Don’t think I missed anything…

No digimon survive news? 0/10.

The reason I personally felt it was a waste of time is due to Nintendo saying it was featuring 3rd party developers that ultimately lead to nothing. There’s so many highly anticipated 3rd party games are coming down the pipeline for the Switch. That’s not including SMT5.

Bayo 3
NMH3
Bravely Default 2
Persona 5 Scramble (hasn’t been officially announced for the West but Atlas has said it’s happening)
Sakura of Rice and Ruin (more info on this the better)

They also mentioned info on other titles that had been previously announced so my mind went directly back to Bayo 3 as well as Metroid Prime 4. Especially since it has been so long since we heard anything about both of them.

What we got was a WWE game, another battle royal game that literally everyone already forgot about, then finally something on SMT5 and then lastly Cadence DLC. 2/4 of those are fine but only one, that being SMT5 is something people truly cares about.

They should have just released individual trailers for those instead of making it a direct. Imo that purposely set them up for failure and opened the flood gate for people to be pissed.

Dude… They’re still putting out Shinobi Strikers stuff? That’s crazy. I wonder if it’s just pretty much become the Xenoverse 2 of Naruto games.
