So with the world gone to shit right now due to covid-19 the ESA, E3’s parent company has decided to cancel the event. It was originally going to take place from 6/9-6/11
Thankfully. Many game developers, publishers, gaming media outlets and people with deep ties to the gaming community have decided that the lack of E3 isn’t going to stop them from showing off upcoming games, DLC, collaborations and maybe even new hardware like consoles or peripherals.
@SonicHuman and I have been discussing about this thread for week and since there are several presentations coming up I went a head and decided to pull the trigger.
I’ll have the upcoming 1-3 presentations in the thread title so people don’t forget. I will link ways to get to the presentations and news about presentations when they become available. Once aired I will also add to this post asap.
Obviously if anyone else finds out about more streams/presentations/whatever. Let me know and I will update accordingly.

As for the Big 3:
Nintendo
Nintendo has internally told several of their own development studios, indie partners and major 3rd party parters that they have no plans on having a June direct this year. They told all who needed to know that one will likely not be made until September at the earliest. However, Nintendo being Nintendo that doesn’t mean they don’t have anything to share into the leading months. The new Paper Mario trailer a few weeks ago seemingly coming out of no where is proof of that.
They have also told all who need to know that if they feel their content is ready to show off than Nintendo would happily let them post them on their own websites or reach out to nintendo.
Sony
Sony seems to plan on slow dripping out info about the last few games coming out and the PS5. They have a State of Play for Last of Us Part 2 on Wednesday as well as there are major rumblings of them doing a PS5 dedicated State of Play sometime in June.
Microsoft
Microsoft has already made their plans known. They plan on doing monthly video presentations or blogs of various lengths, styles and content about everything Xbox SEX box will offer leading into its Holiday release.
Hopefully all of this will make the best out of a bad situation. Lets have some fun and get hype about video games!
