I wanna get a PS5 because there’s a bunch of games on the PS4 I wanna play and since it’s a bit late to get one of those and since 5 will be backwards compatible I think it’s the right choice. But man, if it weren’t for that this conference showed nothing that would make me buy it on release except maybe Spiderman.

Yes. Only with the 4 though and they didn’t say anything about digital titles/dlc. So, who knows?

Yeah. They did a tech demo for the system earlier in the year or very late last. I don’t remember. The presenter kind fumbled over his words/didn’t explain well. Cause initially they said “at launch only 100 games will be BC and those are going to be the top 100 selling titles from the PS4’s generation with more titles rolled out later”
Sony clarified later that he meant “almost all of the games from the 4’s catalog will be BC, we’ve just been focused on optimizing the top 100 best selling for stability purposes”
This is all paraphrasing mind you but that’s the gist

Yes, there some major technical difficulties emulating the PS3.
PS2 and PS1 even if its not Day one is eventual.

Star Renegade looked promising till I saw the ugly ass pixel art they decided to use. The big cat thing was the only thing that looked “good”

Yeah, but I guess the team left behind had enough resources to make Mei, she is pretty popular so it makes minor sense as one of those token updates to keep the audience.
Any rumors about what it’s suppose to be? Probably just going over the expansion pass and future SwSh events?
