I DO wish Ling Tong would get his C4 jesus foot back if he’s going to keep the nunchucks. I never played 6:XL but either he needs to get the 3 section staff back (and let Guan Suo have the nunchucks) or give him his C4 back with the nunchucks (and let Guan Suo have the 3 section staff.)

I personally miss Cao Pi’s longsword from DW6S. When I first saw the Lightning Sword, I mistakenly thought it was Cao Pi’s DW6S sword, but was sadly mistaken. :sad:

Does anybody here missed capturing bases from DW6? I felt that was one of the few things that game did right. In 7 however, capturing bases was almost unnecessary, sure it decreased the amount of enemies spawning, but that’s about it. Also, i missed giving commands to my allied officers as well. :sad:

I so miss giving commands to my allied officers. Shit was great to have them go take bases and shit for me. Missions where you had to protect somebody I had everybody covering that officer.

It sucks they didn’t actually reuse most of the new DW6S wep redesigns. Besides Zhang He and Taishi shi, I would have loved to see Ling Tong keep the 3 section staff. I never got to play it but he really looked fucking boss with a wep like that.

Honestly, either Guan Suo or Ling Tong would’ve been fine with the 3 section staff, all for the sake of having more characters be decloned in DW7.

Something that they should bring back: Versus mode. I remember playing DW4 dueling in the Stone Sentinel Maze with my friends all the time. Hell I think I played that more than I did Musou Mode and I probably put the most hours into that game than all the others so that’s quite a bit…

Manga is the way to go. You get a lot more story without any useless filler. If you put a bit of time into it every once in a while, you shouldn’t have any problem catching up before the game comes out. Especially since you say you’ll be on summer break.

Decided to spoil myself and listen to some OPPW tracks and holy crap this game just goes to show how talented MASA (The group who does the music for the Musou games) is and how they’re not afraid to try something new, in this case, it’s mixing jazz with their usual hard rock theme.

That shit killed me a few times in the early WO3 days. Fighting characters with SW musous can be annoying cause it’s like fighting old school DW officers with the added SW stun hit on activation.

Just keep a triple team attack stocked and blow it when you fight her. I also got stupid amounts of mad when I ran into her the first few days of playing.

Just 1000’d the game a few hours ago using Zhou Tai, Meng Huo, and Xiahou Dun for the chaos runs. A few tips.

Some good stages for the 5 minute battle achievement/trophy

Battle of Xu Chang - Just charge though the stage and complete the objectives as fast as possible. Also pause the game when long dialog comes up as it saves time.

Battle of Tong Gate - Redux - Grab a horse and ride through the boats right up to Cao Pi. Ignore Nezha.

Susano’o’s Last Stand - Grab a horse and ride up to Susano’o’s Lair. That simple.
