Thatâs the only track I even remember hearing when I played Xtreme Legends.
I wasnât a fan of DW4 overall.
Hells yea going around maxing my characters on this Wu board. DW4!!
They need to bring back body guards!!! But use the SW 2 set up. 5 body guards and you can give them orders seperate. 1-3 go back up a general. guards 4 and 5 stay with me. Then we all meet up to just stomp the final general!!
When my nigga Dian Wei died in dw 3 I cried a hundred nights.
Yeah, DW4 wasnât that great compared to the other entries (still better than DW6 by miles though), but there were enjoyable parts to it. I liked the C3 charge system (SSTTTT string) they implemented, The stage designs took a major step back with recycled portions for multiple stages, they made it seem like there were so many stages, yet half of them were just closed off portions of bigger stages. There were maybe less than a dozen unique âfullâ stages, and everything else were just broken down versions of them. Character rebalances werenât that good, although the new characters were really nice (Zhou Tai is godlike). The duel feature was implemented very poorly and not too enjoyable. Overall though, I still thoroughly enjoyed DW4, just not as much as I did with DW3 and DW5. I enjoyed the extra insight to the story and the overall improved feel of the game, but it just suffered from some poor design choices.
I canât remember which one it was, I think it was 5 but it had that mission you play as Zhao Yu in the beginning defending a bridge to a Shu base. Nothing ever felt more bad ass than not allowing a single Wei troop across that bridge.
Also just copped warriors Orochi 2 today, anything I should look out for and anything as busted as WO1 Gaun Ping?
AllmightyâŚthatâs about it.
Pretty sure Zhao Yun was assigned to save Liu Beiâs son. It was Zhang Feiâs job to hold down the bridge. Unless there was another bridge scenario⌠but thatâs the only famous one.
Even though I hate OnePiece I am excited that One Piece Musou is being ported over. I plan on buying it.
Yea I heard the problems with DW4 (mainly the stage design being reused in other stages.) and the Duel system was reallyâŚawkward for sure. I do miss the taunts that put in the game. Useless but nice.
I DO wish Ling Tong would get his C4 jesus foot back if heâs going to keep the nunchucks. I never played 6:XL but either he needs to get the 3 section staff back (and let Guan Suo have the nunchucks) or give him his C4 back with the nunchucks (and let Guan Suo have the 3 section staff.)
Cao Ren ex-C3 with Almighty mixed with some ex-C2.

I wish they would make the AI extremely smart like ninja gaiden .It would be insane seeing tha.I miss the hard fought battles of dw3.Me and my brother had a lot of fun in that game .
yea DW3 AI on both sides was crazy. Maxed out bodyguards? Those guys saved lives.
Something I wish theyâd bring back is more use of the SW special peons. The EHEHEHEH fat guys, drill ninjas, wind ninjasâŚtheyâre hardly used compared to the SW1 iteration (and yesâŚthey were fucking annoying). They appear in WO3 but theyâre not really consistently there compared to the â1 slash onlyâ peons.
Speaking of AI, Iâve come to realize how shitty DW7âs allied AI is compared to DW3s. So I face two officers, kill one easily and gravely injured the other one. I decided to have the nearby allied officers finish him off as I was pressed for time on unlocking a secret weapon. Lo and behold thatthe injured officer somehow slips past the nearby allied officers and slays my perfectly healthy Commander, gg. :shake:
Ah, the memories of playing He Fei Castle, Wu side in DW3 on hard mode and triggering that ambush or archers in the middle of the castle⌠Brings a tear to my eye at how much I raged at them
I considered my bodyguards generals man. I cared about their well being and everything I used to strategize with my brother how we could use them effectively .When Lu bu killed them at hu Lao gate I was shocked .
I always loved going into a crowd and seeing the sword bodyguards follow behind me throwing out C2s one after another. It was like a Romance of the Three Kingdom Shoryuken.
This is shockingâŚhow?
They were so damn good we even carefully plotted out how to fight him.We were gonna shoot him from a distance while me and my brother fought him up close. The minute he got hit with some arrows he ran up to them and slaughtered them .Dude ignored us .I was like god damn Lu bu does not care.
Does anybody here missed capturing bases from DW6? I felt that was one of the few things that game did right. In 7 however, capturing bases was almost unnecessary, sure it decreased the amount of enemies spawning, but thatâs about it. Also, i missed giving commands to my allied officers as well.
I actually liked the base capturing bit. At least added some type of flavor (and people having different type of skills to use on capturing a base.) Kinda suckes they didnât bring it back in some way.
And hearing âYOU FLAMING IDIOTS!â never gets old. My friend and I did Yellow Turban grinds for the HP/Musou up box all the time. We ended up doing the head bob the guy does when he says âtake this!â Great memories of DW3 and staying up all night farming officers.
