Another thing I’ve noticed…why are the X360 versions of WO1-2, DW: Gundam, and DW6 easier to find than the PS2/3/PSP versions?

Warriors Orochi: The Colelctive is a PS3 exclusive port for the time being…I guess because fans were probably asking for WO ps3 port, since WO1 and 2 were out for the 360.
Edit: Damnit…DW: Gundam 2 has been delayed until April 21 or around that time.

Okay let me clear something up…I have all those games some on all three systems ps1,ps2,ps3 and XBOX/360 WO is on PS2, 3 and 360 same with DW6. SW is on XBOX I have not seen a copy for the PS and to talk about DW6 I liked the game but like I read some of the move list are the same and I was kind of pissed that when you do a combo you could not mix up the combos with different hits like in the other games… I did not know they are making another WO and putting that on the Wiik WTF! I have all the DW since the 1st on on PS1 and tried to get all the other games like the side games. But what ever happened to kessen??? that was another DW but also had characters like Himiko in that…
So I’ve been playing Sengoku Basara recently, which of course while not from this series is a similar type of game so I decided to try out this series. What’s worth playing? I have a PS2, PSP, 360

Man, I remember when Dynasty Warriors started out as a 1 on 1 fighter.

I’m hoping that WOZ has some sort of online play…I remember that DW: Gundam 2 may have an online mode.
WOZ, or The Collective is the first time WO was been on the PS3…and I think it’s the 3rd Warriors game on that system, if you count Gundam.
WO is not coming to the Wii…but Samurai Warriors 3 is supposed to be a Wii-xclusive. I’m hyped for that.
I’ve heard good thing about the Kessen games…too bad I missed out on them. They are hard to find new and sealed.
I do know that Nobunaga’s Ambition: Iron Triangle is supposed to come out for PC and PS2.
I take it you mean Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War. I haven’t played it personally, but from what I hear, it’s more of an RTS-type game than the traditional Warriors games.
I still play Sengoku Basara (Devil Kings) from time to time…I wish that they would dub the sequels and bring them to the states though.
As for what’s worth playing…here’s my list.
Dynasty Warriors 5 and Extreme Legends. If you cannot find DW5 by itself, then just stick with Extreme Legends. It has IMO the best movelist for characters. PS2.
As far as Dynasty Warriors 6 (PS3/360)…it’s hard to say. 1/2 the characters in there share the same movelist with the other 1/2. And the PS2 version (which have decloned most of the cloned movesets, is supposedly laggy.
Samurai Warriors 2 and Extreme Legends…same reasons as for DW5. I think you’ll have an easier time finding SW2 for the 360 than PS2. If you do, I think you can d/l SW2:XL via XBL.
Warriors Orochi 1 or 2. I honestly have to say that this is the one of the best Warriors games in a long time.
Don’t pass on DW: Gundam either…it’s actually a fun game. Get the sequel first.
The sequels aren’t difficult to understand. There’s a couple of FAQs on Gamefaqs that translates the menus and the items. Worked for me.
How do I go about getting the ps2 games? Do i have to mod my ps2 to play them?
You go and buy the games and play them on your PS2. You shouldn’t have to mod your PS2 at all.

I actually meant Sengoku Basara 2, and Heroes also. I haven’t played the first one. And yeah, like D-Force said, you can play them without any understanding of Japanese just fine.
I have played DWG1 but that’s just cause I’m a huge Gundam fan, I plan to get DWG2 already =)
