I like Xing Cai but I hate her new look. I think DW8 is her overall best outfit so far.
Sun quan’s EX attack is his old Musou 2 super. which is nice.
Lian Shi…titties <3.
Is it me or does Wen Yang look extremely tall as fuck? Is he just dash canceling or is that part of his moveset? O_o
Zhuge Dan looks fun to play now. Instead of a boring Zhuge Liang half clone.
airdashes look better now that they go further. Reminds me of DW2’s jump before they nerfed it. (hopefully it’ll be better use for travel when you don’t have red hare.)
can’t wait to play Xu Shu. Don’t mind skipping empires to wait to play him.
YueYing looks fun as usual. OG wep>Crossbow anyday.
on another note, I picked up the first Ken’s rage about 2 weeks ago since it’s pretty cheap and I never really played it much outside of Kenshiro’s story. I do love the game outside the fact it’s really sucks to run around with the slower characers (aka hokuto :/) But outside of that, I love it. Especially when we’re talking Jagi C1. lol

Cao Ren and Wang Yi
Zuo Ci back…eh. If he’s going to be as nerfed as he was in WO3 then no thanks.

Wang Yi. New outfit isn’t that different. But I still love you.

Zhuroung looks pimp. Like her new outfit.
Looking @ the new vids of some of the already revealed characters, they really shafted my man Pang De. He didn’t retain his EX attack from WO3, now he just has a simple jab. Maybe its a grapple attack that didn’t connect properly.
I agree…I loved Pang De’s EX in WO3.
I spammed the shit out of that EX…it juggled and got all the hits in almost every time.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7ijCa3ugoY

Yeah…Zuo Ci’s movest looks so beastly now.

With the announcement of the PS4…I am all but certain that Samurai Warriors 4 is going to be on the PS4 either in debut or enhanced version for PS4.
Ah…the gang’s all here, and Japan gets this game in one week. DW7: Empires comes out on Tuesday, so hopefully we’ll hear something regarding a western release of DW8 within the next month or so.

I’m really liking all the new additions to DW8 so far. The fact that a DW3 style free mode is back, where you can play as both sides in a battle. Also liking the “what-if” scenarios in the story mode that have to be unlocked through certain circumstances. DW4 kind of tried that…only rather than having legit “what if” scenarios, characters just sorta…didn’t die. Now I get to see the effects of scenarios like Guo Jia living through Chi Bi, Zhou Yu living through He Fei, Xu Shu saving Guan Yu at Fan Castle, etcetera. Most of all though, is having a story mode where every character can have their moment to shine, even the characters from the “other” faction. It looks like every stage has the option of choosing through three-four characters, and each character has their own scenario in the stage, or so it’s said. That already gives the story mode a hell of a lot more replay-ability than DW7’s.

Other than that, every character has a de-cloned moveset, which is fantastic. I’m a little sore about some characters not really getting that much of a change to their old movesets; like the changes some characters got in WO3, but oh well…I guess that’s the cost of having no characters with the same moveset.

In any case, really hyped to get my hands on this game. On a side note, it’s strange how Zhang He was excluded from the Wei PV video that got posted hours earlier…a mistake on Koei’s part?

I’ve already made 60 or so CAWS on the Empires Edit mode Demo…so yeah I’ll be getting it next week on PSN.

I would not be surprised that KT will wait until E3 to announce DW8 coming to the NA/EU…and hopefully a Samurai Warriors 4 update.

I forgot where I heard this from, maybe I’m imagining it but is it true your CAWs in DW7E will replace the named generals and lieutenants during missions? I haven’t played an Empires game since DW5 but if that’s true I might hop on 7E.

If we aren’t ever getting a proper Bleach Musou I can at least create my own team of jobbers. Guan Suo? Nope. Renji Abarai.

So whoever made the Wei trailer did forget to put Zhang He in it…fans apparently raged on twitter…so they re-issued a new one with him in it.

http://youtu.be/dSy0LRNrwN0
At least Koei realized their mistake, took down the old vid and added in Zhang He. /props
Also I just heard that DW8 will be available for digital download also. While I prefer to own a physical copy of the game, I think my funds for DW7E will go to this game instead. XD

Related to that, a user on Koei Warriors asked Erin Fitzgerald if she was asked to be a VO in DW8. She said that Koei hadn’t contacted yet about anything VO related. This was maybe two weeks ago that I read about this.

That may be a lie, just so that she wouldn’t spill the beans about a western release.
