Hey guys. I just won Parallel Universe from 4Hero off of Ebay not too long ago and I love it despite each song being formulaic. At the same time though I’ve started to listen to Goldie and his first, I guess, album Timeless and WOW is it awesome.
Can we create a list of the must have/must listen to albums. Like the ones that define the genre? I say a nice solid top 15 list.
hey is 3S music considered dnb? if so, what subgenre would it be under? i know you guys talked about subgenres earlier but i’ve looked for 3S type dnb but all i’ve found is Future Prophecies which is like really synth heavy stuff and not the same as the 3S music. can anybody help?
Some of 3S’s music IS dnb, but i cant ever see it being played in a club, dont really know how you categorise it. Same as the soundtracks to stuff like Shock troopers (those amens are superb). I think Akumas stage is pretty amen heavy too.
Maybe check out some more mid 90s stuff for that style? Or artists like Breakage nowadays? (I wont swear to that as I dont really listen to new dnb)
i find that guys that release albums lose alot of there creativity it’s alot easier to fill a 4 track ep than a 8 or tune album without diluting the quality

There’s quite alot of good stuff i’ve added on there like the whitehouse crew - where the sun dont shine and anonymus.
those into the darkside really should check those two tracks out also the thunderhead tracks
Oh yeah ragga junglists need to checkout redskin records stuff if you can find it that is, definently up there with kemet as best ragga jungle label
also i think personally there needs to be better MP3 availablity of these tracks and all old school music really, i mean i looked through dogs on acids library and it’s very very poor and dogs on acid could be considered one of the librarys of old skool tracks, i mean as much as i like vynyl it’s not practical for alot of people especially for the worldwide folks, i definently think there’s quite a bit of potential for these old skool to get some royaltys and such, that last part probably made no sense at all and yeah i’m rambling a bit, i just feel there’s alot of untapped potential for people to enjoy old and rare hardcore jungle and for the artists to get the credit and rewards they deserved
Speaking of Hospital, check out this mix I recorded live at a gig over the weekend. Lots of Hospital tunes from Logistics, High Contrast, Nu:Tone, Blu Mar Ten, and London Elektricity.
