I mean…thats obvious. Just enjoying the freedom while it lasts before Mikey Mouse is in everything. He’s gonna have a lightsaber soon, watch.
their will be push back once people become more aware of how much disney will try to white wash the industry. no more edgy comedy, no alternative views on culture, erasure of adult content. plus the price will jump eventually and people will also see a fall off from that.
buttt i in general was just talking about kids stuff not saying disney is purely that.
The issue isnt any potential white washing. But the amount of cultutal works along with tbe extended IP protection is a massive issie.
Disney is already making things hard for small movie theaters which showed old films. 20th Century Fox catalog now has them saying no more often.
At a free 70 milliom a month and rising, Disney is printing free money to fund more nonsense amd acquisitions.
Just wait till Disney buys Coca-Cola.
Mickey-Cola even worse then New Coke.
Danny Phantom reboot and revival!!
BEST TOON MOM NEEDS TO BE BACK IN ACTION!!
I think that already happened.
The one that would actually worry me is if Disney buys Hasbro. Then, they will wield the Nostalgia Gauntlet.
You know it’s only a matter of time lol
Disney buys square enix
You can’t fight the beast. Just give in. I’d shill more if they paid me more…no lie
Oh. A “continue watching” or a “previously watched” section would be most welcomed too.
On my Apple TV I have to go through the actual Apple TV app to go to my watch history for D+. While it’s not a huge deal because it takes only seconds; It should just be a thing in the D+ app.
I don’t want to go through my watch list just fo find what I was watching to continue watching it. It should be the top section on the home screen of the app.
I really like D+ so far. It’s only going to add more content as time goes on. As likely will the quality of life adjustments I’ve mentioned be implemented. I hope so anyways.
I’m still getting used to seeing D+ short for Disney Plus.
I keep thinking big tiddies or a shitty report card.
Shitty report card for big old tiddies
Not that I care but the Michael Jackson episode of the Simpsons is excluded from the Disney+ package
That’s…odd.
HBO affect even though that documentary was mostly lies. But you can’t be a family friendly streaming service and have a “well known child fondler”… I say this as what the mainstream perceive not me personally
Apparently it was removed from all TV broadcast, too, under the direction of executive producer James L Brooks, with agreement from Matt Groening and Al Jean. Not just a Disney decision.
That’s not the only thing wrong with the Simpsons on Disney+
I hate when the original aspect ratio gets fucked with. There’s absolutely no need for that. Trying to make the earlier episodes fit on modern TVs. I’d much rather keep it 4:3 until the show changed it and drew it for 16:9. That would also help preserve the historic aspect (pun intended) of showing how things change in 30 years of television.
