I guess this doesn’t bold well for any of the pre-MCU Marvel movies to make it to the service. I would love to see Blade 1 & 2 on there.

Wouldn’t the Fox X-Men films have a higher chance of making it since Disney owns fox now?

it depends who has the streaming rights

Also depends on the rating. I guarantee that Logan and the Deadpool movies have a snowball’s chance in Hell being on D+

I don’t think the X-Men and Fantastic Four movies will have issues. Everything else will.

Thats why Disney also owns part of Hulu.

Would probably be down the road, the fact is Disney will no doubt reboot the X brand and you don’t want the flawed prototype on your premier platform making people look at the concept sideways until you product to counteract that.

Disney reaches over 10m subs in a single day. Which is a 1/6th of Netflix’s current domestic sub base.

As content keeps dropping into the service it’s only going to get higher and higher. It’ll be slow but a consistent pace. They’ll be knocking on Netflix’s door by the end of 2022 I’m sure.

Yoy really shouldn’t be rooting for that.

Who said I was? I don’t want Netflix to fail. That’s silly. But it’s now about to enter the same growing pains as Hollywood Video and Blockbuster did when Netflix first started gaining steam.

Competition breeds creativity. If Netflix wants to stay ahead or at least on even ground they’ll need to change up how they do things or D+ and arguably HBO MAX are eventually going to steam roll them.

Netflix is losing distribution rights left and right due to more services popping up and those services wanting their IP’s to be in-house only. And the ones that aren’t doing a streaming service like Viacom (They own Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and some others) are putting the distribution rights up for auction.

Netflix isn’t going to be able to rest on its laurels for long. Not if they keep chopping their own in-house content off at the knees and pumping out more misses than hits when it comes to comedy specials. They’ve brought over some amazing anime too but as main stream anime is now…it really isn’t. I keep my Netflix sub for the anime but I guarantee you most don’t.

netflix as long as they keep producing good movies and shows on subjects disney wont touch they will have a place imo. hbo max wants to be the disney alternative but im not sure they can be. ill have to wait and see what the original stuff they produce.

This is exactly what I was talking about. Netflix is already making the appropriate moves

Here’s hoping they upload the 2003 TMNT series. :crossed_fingers:

thats not meant for adults…its meant to put a dent in kid stuff. they dont have alot of new stuff directed at children

Nicktoons library says otherwise.

Rocko
Ah real monsters
Rugrats
As told by ginger
Spongebob
The Wild Thornberries
Danny Phantom
Fairly Odd Parents

I could go on for a while.

Nickelodeon also now owns TMNT.

Lots of their live action stuff was good too. For instance Pete & Pete, Alex Mac, Salute Your Shorts, Keenan and Kel, and Are You Afraid of the Dark.

Thats not all that Disney is taking. The Disney catalog is disgustingly long.

Disney + can suck a nut at this rate. 10 million people signed up, easy peasy 70 million a month to start.

Y’all are gonna have the mouse own everything.
