Both cannot start the DHC glitch easily (Wolverine cannot at all-- in your example, Storm starts it. And Sentinel requires you to throw the opponent which is arguably harder than landing a combo into DHC trick).
However— you are right. Ability to launch combos post DHC is also another contributing factor to how good the character is for DHCs.
Actually bro you can start Sents DHC glitch off a simple HSF. no throw required.
And with Wolvie you simple DHC into :d::d::atk::atk: and go into any combo you want Wolvie recoverys very fast after his B.Charge.
My follow up combo after Elemental Rage are as follows:
Storm/Wol: DHC B.Charge is j:uf::h::s: land j:uf::h::s: land :s: ^ :l::h: xx drill claw (and from here you can either do an Aerial Exchange, Dive Kick, or Fatal Claw)
Storm/Sent: DHC HSF :s: ^ xx RocketPunch xx Hard Drive or HSF :s: ^ :h::s: land :l:Rocket Punch xx HSF. If I dont have enuf meter I just skip the second Hyper with Sent.
Easy Pezzy.
I mean its safe to say that if I have 1 bar and have Storm and either Wol or Sent. I can garrentee a ~100%combo off of any cr:l: I am able to land.
This goes for Wol too, he can start the combo, but he will have to Aerial Exchange to Storm which can be risky, but If you stay away from :d::s:, you cut down on alot of the tech that occur.
I have full notation for these combos in the Storm Combo Thread, somewhere, the thread never gets updated though so you have to search for them.
Alright so I found a couple videos on Youtube showing Taskmasters DHC trick from both Spencer and Storm.
Now I spent a good amount of time last night trying to do the trick from Storm to Task but was unable to link anything with Task.
This Storm/Task vid from Humbag shows him link from the Elemental Rage but he also managed to trap his opp in the ER before they hit the ground, where as my ER always act as OTG’s.
So what im getting at is… Does anyone else have any DHC glitch combo that lead into Taskmaster, where they are able to link a full launch combo and not just a :qcf::uf::h: xx :qcf:[:h:]
Would Magnetos Hyper Grav assist also cause the DHC trick? I can’t test it for the moment but I’d like to know if a character that normally cant DHC trick can use Mags assist (Mag being 3rd slot) and do a dhc into a power-up super like wolverines for example to cause the dhc trick.
Maybe, but that seems pretty specific since Mags HAS to be 3rd slot, and he has to have that assist, and your first two have to be in perfect order, and you have to combo into said Hyper Grav while having a hyper you can cancel quickly enough so it doesn’t land, and DHC to a DHC trick Second Hyper.
Yeah I know the requirements are quite specific, along with adjusting the current character to do a combo utilizing said assist to DHC trick but it’s still nice to know.
Hey guys I’m trying to do the DHC Trick with She Hulk’s AA grab (Taking out the Trash) into Thor’s grab (Mighty Punish). For some reason, the damage is not resetting after I hit the opponent. I’ll do Mighty Punish and the opponent pops up, and then I’ll hit with Thor’s launcher (or whatever) but the damage is still being scaled. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Remember that you need to hit them at least once at some point since the match started or the training room reset before the DHC trick will occur.
EDIT: Hmm, just tried it and it might not be that simple. I’ll keep messing with it.
For some reason, it only seems to work if Thor winds up coming in on the opposite side from the side She-Hulk was on and grabs the wrong way or the target is a lot higher in the air than usual. I’m going to guess that Thor’s grab hitbox needs to miss when he comes in for it to work.
If anyone is having trouble doing the DHC trick, this Storm/Sent combo posted by Mr. Nannie makes it super easy.
In practice mode, if you do a little storm combo into elemental rage, then DHC into Hyper Sent force, use the :s: ^ :h: :s: land :l: Rocket Punch then Hyper Sent Force again, then xfactor to HSF you’ll end up with 1.2 million damage and it’s super easy.
In most matches online I find I can’t even finish that combo because the other guy is dead before the second HSF, never mind the third one.
I was searching for some Storm/Taskmaster DHC Glitch combos that can deal some 'touch of death"esk damage and I found a video on youtube of Humbag performing just this:

There it is enjoy, if you havent seen it yet
Another thing to consider is whether or not the incoming character can build meter in this state. Dante, for example, cannot build meter in Devil Trigger mode.
Wolverine has the same problem; even though you do a lengthy combo, post DHC, it still doesnt build any meter. So you are relagated to building your meter in the combo leading up to the DHC.
This is one of the things I like about the Storm/Taskmaster DHC combo that I mentioned a few post above. Tasky is still in his normal state after the DHC and his combo is quite long, so you wind up building alot of meter, enuf for a second DHC to your third character. Or, even more fun, you can try an aerial exchange back to Storm and attempt another rep of the Storm/Task DHC glitch combo.
ok im using mag, task and ammy i do the magnifest tempest into the aegis counter but after i cant catch them with task master after the spin state someone help with the timing. what move would be good to used for task to catch them during the spin state?
