been using spidey/deadpool/sentinel since the game out and would agree that since you can’t DHC out of MS into any of Deadpool’s supers effectively there’s some synergy lost. BUT, the UWT setup does so much damage I think it makes up for it as you won’t be needing the DHC for damage early in a match. Sentinel drones can be used as a pressure assist for Spidey and help Deadpool for zoning and keep away when he’s in play.
I would agree the other option would be to get a low hitting assist to set up unblockables for Spidey, I however currently prefer the projectile style assist of the drones that allow me to move in and of course X-factored Sentinel if the situation calls for it lol.
Well currently i’m playing Spider-Man, C. Viper and Dr. Doom and this type of UWT reset work and MS can be DHC’d into Burst Time. Right now i’m not sure of 2 things since i’m not at home to test them: whether the UWT reset works outside the corner with this pairing and if i can get a relaunch combo after UWT.
Same. I’ve been doing X-Factor off of Crawler Assault and just going right into MS, which sometimes whiffs. This is not only more damaging, it’s a lot more consistent. I’ll be in the lab with this tomorrow. I never really found a good way to use my OTG assist outside of the corner…those air grab combos make me soooo happy.
I was going to post this too because it’s given me a few ideas. Previously I didn’t think about webswinging after an OTG so I’m probably going to incorporate it now

im gonna be in the lab later tonight trying to work on some more solo combos using some of the ideas i saw. the better team combos expand from the creativity of the solo combos.
Holy shit that’s amazing. I’m ashamed to say I have Dormammu on my team and never considered tagging Spidey back in for another Maximum Spider. Heck, I can do that, DHC again to Dormammu and Maximum Spider again! Might be close to 2m damage for 5 bars.
The web zip in the air before S is genius…although it does scale the combo more it allows for really slow OTGs assists do work. Man this opens a lot of new possibilities for team building around Spider-man.

damn i knew there was an interesting loop with him somewhere. when trying for one of my combos, which are posted in another thread, i would do the motions too fast sometimes and get a dash before my spider sting would come out. i figured it would make for some interesting mix ups/psuedo unblockables but this is better. practicing that shit now good find
Not home so I don’t have a copy of the game to try. How is it that spidey is able to turn around so the web throw keeps putting them back in the corner. Seems like a dash, but if you already have 7 reps ( which should kill most chars) then I guess it would be easy to just share.
yeah i was gonna share had to go back to work. like i was saying before about dashing setting up for weird mixups thats whats happening here kinda. after a wall bounce there is a noticeable frame where spidey can ‘crawl’ underneath them and cancel into his S. from there if you jump straight up you are on the other side. with that being said when the web throw connects you are putting yourself back in the corner so when he grabs them he throws them to the corner. rinse repeat technically making it an unscalable infinite. be careful though because there are times it negative edges and cause web swing instead. ive been dashing in and then doing 360 motions to get the web throw to come out. other interesting tools as well. you can crossup with out jumping causing for late resets that can lead to MS. i nominated the vid for front page and also i got my reps on cap and dante still working on the rest of the cast
Hrm is there a trick to it? I can’t seem to get the web throw to come out. If this turns into something consistent then it opens up a ton of possibilities for team combinations because his damage can come from solo combos instead of the usual OTG assists.
