Yeah unless it’s in a match and you trying to kill the opponent. I seen crazier though. There’s times spidey will grab them and the animation will switch back then forth not knowing which way to throw them. Then it just throws somewhere but results vary. Spidey should have a Thor like throw or a web pull like move to help with combos. I wonder if we will see assist buffs

Testing out my new equipment let me know what yall think of the quality and what should be tweaked. I didnt do anything to it production wise so this is straight from the feed

LOL, in order to get on the front page of SRK, you have to have a UWT reset or perform a combo that starts with an instant overhead (no offense to anyone that’s made front page; those were great videos, and I’m mad salty that a lot more things haven’t made it on the front page yet).

I really need to start working on my projects again. @___@ Gotta stay in competition with Xero. XDDD

If I could request something for your videos xero, it would be some sort of table of contents at the beginning for any your tutorial vids. That would be greatly appreciated.

Spiderman does not need any buffs or changes. I really hope people stop requesting changes before capcom screw something up. plz spread this message.

If they removed the DHC glitch and kept Spider-Man the same, he’d be top tier. They may have to end up nerfing something about him, his damage is way too good as it is.

I’m sticking with him no matter what though… unless they make him like Marvel 2 Spidey. Then Phoenix Wright will be my main.

Edit: On second thought, making Spidey’s web throw unscalable, yet decreasing it’s damage may be a decent change. Without the DHC glitch, a lot of characters can’t die in a single combo, but Spidey can do that no problem without meter or X-factor because of 150,000 damage web throws each time. Maybe reducing the webthrow damage to 100,000 or slightly lower would work.

Spidey was actually pretty decent in Marvel 2 all they needed to do was fix his air dash. If they took the MvC2 version of him stuck him in this game, gave him the leniency of this game’s air dash and still gave him web zip, Spidey would definitely be high tier. People fail to realize how strong super jump cancels were to him. As for reasonable changes nerfing the web throw distance is reasonable while buffing his other normals like web ball and web zip. If everything else is the same (crossup setups involving :s: etc) he could still be workable.

Also Kiji, when you say table of contents are you talking about the linkable kind to jump to a section? If so I’m not sure how to do that. I am working on a basic tutorial vid at the moment though so if anyone has any suggestions on content that should be covered for BEGINNERS that I may overlook let me know.

Yeah that’s what I mean. I know that to link to a specific time in a video you just add #t=xmxs at the end of your link.
For example if I want to link to 1 min 45 in your combo video, I type:

I saw this in airborne’s No Meter No Problem Video and i have a question about mid-screen web-zip > j.H .j.S. Does it always cross up when it lands mid-screen? i can see from zero15’s combo video that in the corner it doesn’t.

There’s no point doing that combo as it’s not practical in a real match and leaves a lot of room for error. You can do simpler bnbs that grant you the same if not more meter / damage using assists.

Oh ok thanks for the advice. I’m trying to get all that combo aspects down so that i can pull the most damage from any situation i find myself in.

:lol: actually it’s very practical in a match you just arent trying to do it or are doing it wrong. yes it does crossup midscreen and corner. In the corner when you do :s: it instantly crosses up so when you super jump you will be in the corner, this is essential for chaining web throws after the launch. Midscreen it slightly different. If you know how to followup web swing correctly you can land do s:m: s:h: xx web zip j:h: j:s: which will crossup then do s:m: s:h: xx :m: web throw. When done midscreen to the corner this allows Spidey to get two to three web throws solo. As of right now its Spidey’s strongest bnb hitting for close to 1M solo with no reset, xfactor, and using only one meter. Just like any fighting game of course your combos will change with the situation.

IT’S. MORE. PRACTICAL. THAN. OUR. 800k. BNB’S. I freakin’ performed the infinite set-up online in a laggy match. Also, it’s more practical than several “HEY LOOK I’M DOING 1.3M IN ONE COMBO USING BOTH ASSISTS AND NO METER”, becase it’s not nearly as easy to create openings for combos against bettwer players without utilizing your assists. That’s why I started with an unblockable in both combos instead of using Wesker’s OTG in order to extend it.

Also, you only cross under if you have them high enough off the ground.

Note: This does not apply to Sentinel, as I have not found a way to cross under him mid-combo due to his size.

You can cross him up in the corner but once again he has to be pretty high

LOL look at these two boyfriends sticking up for their combo. Honestly, with the high damage output of this game who would really give a shit about this combo? You can get the same damage using assists with easier execution and with less room for error and I’m not talking about shit assists too. The type of assists I’m talking about are Drones and Hidden Missiles. Drones is one of the best assists in the game along with hidden missiles.

Pull your combo of in a tournament, then I will listen to you.

Oh an airborne assist recover very fast in this game, most times they are readily available in the combo string. However, if both are not available, just using one of the assists causes enough damage with 1 meter.

:lol: coming from someone who hasn’t contributed anything useful to the boards you’re pretty arrogant. By your logic the game shouldn’t evolve because you can do this much damage using said assist. Not everyone uses drones or missiles so the option of having a strong ass combo is there solo. If you know of a stronger combo solo go ahead and post it but while you’re on your bullshit realize you get MORE damage using said combo and assists that you posted. Just because you can’t or don’t want to do it don’t lie and say it’s not practical to someone who wants to learn it. As for doing it in a tournament Rahsaan does similar combos plus if can do it in a regular match you can do it in a tourney.
