Yeah, a lot of people say demon souls is hard, but like sean’s apprentice said, it’s more punishing than hard, you can’t be sloppy against a lot of enemies, you have to actually play well, which is why it’s so rewarding.
of course, now thats it’s been out for awhile poeple have crazy efficient builds that makes the game a breeze, but whats the fun in that…

Btw I’ve played all the Mgs games and 4 isn’t that bad, it started off slow and confusing ( similar to 2.) but picked up and is pretty hype so far. I’m back in shadow Moses reliving some awesome memories.
Then again, my favorite Mgs game was 2, so I’m already different than most. I really like raiden as a character and fortune as well.
Mgs 3 was obviously the best one hands down, but I guess the nostalgia of 2 being my first ps2 game makes me biased.

mgs 4 is bad because it’s easily 95% cutscenes and those talk largely about nanomachines doing blah blah blah
The first time i played through it, i didn’t save and the power went out in act 4. It took me 1 hour to get back there skipping cutscenes

Don’t even bother buying Demon Souls or Dark Souls, they are easily the hardest games of the next-gen. MGS4 was not horrible, just on the cinematic side. Don’t forget about Heavy Rain, you’ll thank me later.
Listen to FRE$H. Heavy Rain is good. Real good. Don’t watch/read anything on this game before playing. You will fuck it up for yourself.
I can see why a lot of people are addicted to Demon/Dark Souls, but if you don’t have a lot of free time, those games are just annoying. You will spend a retarded amount of time just getting to the first boss, and most of the time spent is dying and restarting from the BEGINNING of the huge ass level/map, and running back to where you died to pick up the souls you leave behind when you die. And better hope you don’t die BEFORE finding your stack of souls, because you’ll lose them permanently and have to grind and farm them all over again. Goodbye, 3+ hours of your life.
Oh, and the game gets harder every time you die.

The thing i love about Disgaea is that the art is so consistent. They are going for game play, and instead of half assing graphics, they do something simple that looks good. It’s definitely the best FF Tactics style game out there, maybe even better than FFT for some people. Also they managed to take the first game and not ruin anything about it in the next 2, which happens a lot.
Yeah, I’m so hyped for disgaea 4, haven’t really played one since the first, so it will be nice and fresh for me, man I am not gonna leave the house this winter, too many games coming out that I want to play, they need to spread this stuff out…
also, don’t listen to beta about demon souls. He is bad at everything he does, as you all know, so his opinion on anything should be viewed from the perspective of a loser. If you’re not a loser, then just think the exact opposite of what he says. This man spouts off about how you should only play demon souls if you have a lot of free time, then turns around and recommends mgs4 were you’re gonna be sitting through hour long cutscenes and install times every chapter. this guy…
Demon Souls is as “hard” as you make it. Like I said, if you play smart, you’ll do fine. While you do start at the start of the level if you die, most levels have short cuts that you unlock as you go through them, so it’s not that big a deal. If you’re use to mashing your way through games then you’re probably gonna die a lot.
Look up demon soul speed runs on youtube. You can beat the game in an hour. every level. It ain’t that hard.
