I disagree entirely, but eh. Zero’s alot more fun to use plus he has a way to continually rack up damage against bosses without activating their invincibility. Makes some bosses alot fast to kill. I mean, the Shadow armor is awesome, yes, but Zero’s still awesome

I randomly pulled out Mystic Defender for Genesis.

I’m so hooked on that game now. Stage 4, the fire level kicks my ass. In fact, I’m gonna hunt down the Japanese Mega Drive version (Kujaku Ou II). Joe Yamato looks way more awesome in a white robe than that stupid purple outfit.

Since I’m playing FF X as well right now, might as well tell you how:

Anima is obtained by going to the Baaj Temple. This temple is the one that appears at the beginning of the game when Tidus arrives for the first time at Spira. The location of this place on the airship coordinates is X = 14 Y = 57. Once there, you have to defeat that huge fish boss from the beginning of the game (Gerosgeno? Just make sure you have Stone Ward or Stoneproof on your armors, cuz he uses a petrify/break combo on you), and then you will be able to access the inner sanctum.

Once inside, you’ll notice that there are 6 statues. These statues belong to the Yevon Temples you have been to so far. What you need to do is that you must have retrieved the treasures from the 6 Cloister of Trials by using the Destruction Sphere. If you did that, you will notice that the statue corresponding to that temple lights up. For example, the Bevelle Temple statue lights up by itself because you needed to obtain the Destruction Sphere in order to advance. From there, you need to resolve the puzzles of the Besaid, Macalania, Djose, Killika, and Zanarkand temples. After you have obtained all the treasures from the temples, go back to Baaj Temple and light up all 6 statues. You will access the Faith Chamber and obtain Anima.

As for the 99999 summon damage, you must obtain the ultimate weapons of certain characters. After you obtain the ultimate weapon, the aeon can do over 9999 damage, sometimes even reaching the maximum 99999 damage point. The guide goes as:

Yuna’s Nirvana = Valefor
Wakka’s World Champion = Ifrit
Lulu’s Onion Knight = Shiva
Kimahri’s Spirit Lance = Ixion
Auron’s Masamune = Yojimbo

The other aeons can go over 9999 damage without need of having ultimate weapons.

Anybody playing the Legend of Zelda; The minish cap? HOw is it?

its ok if you get past the very cute kiddish look and simplistic gameplay

I’ve given up on the all AAAs and all No Damage Clears on MMX8. I simply cannot beat Gigavolt Man-O’-War’s stage without getting hit, and I can’t get anything better than a AA on the boss refights stage (Gateway). Apparently, you need a 32 hit combo on it to avoid point loss. Unforetunately, even with the 50 bonus points for a No Damage Clear, I simply can’t make up for the point loss from not having any combos. And I can’t figure out how to combo bosses, since they get a short period of invulnerability after a hit.

NARUTO:GNT2 = too good

I think I’ve taken on too many games. Katamari Damacy, DBZ: B3, GTA: SA, MvC2. It really is hard to get to them all. At the moment, I’m playing MvC2. So many characters in this game. It may take me a while to find out who I like and who I don’t like. I haven’t even moved beyond the first 24. I haver 2000+ points so I could buy other characters but I want to get good with some of the ones that are already available. Wolverine rocks as usual. Clclops isn’t too shabby either. I keep thinking this is SF when it isn’t. The action moves at such an accelerated speed and then theres tagging in and out in an instant. I haven’t played the first MvC since 2001, so I guess I’d forgotten what it was like to play a 2D fighter like this. :wow: One characters I really like is Tron Bonne (my bro-in-law says she sucks but I LOVE her). I lover her fighting style and that mech that she’s in. The fact that she’s from a MM game just makes her appeal to me even more. I can’t wait to team her up with the Blue Bomber.

Your bro-in-law is a DUMBASS. Now I really wish I sent you my fight tape. Your things were shipped on thursday btw.

Katamari Damacy is so groovy…I just wished it was longer. However, I hear that certain levels can be unlocked so I’ll get to that sometime around.

Try using Axl’s rapid shot.

For some reason, I thought that I had already tried that, but when you suggested it I gave it a second try, and I now have all AAAs. But I still can’t get a No Damage Clear on Gigavolt. That stuff’s just BS.

I finished playing Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance (unlocked all the characters, endings, backgrounds and finished Konquest Mode).

I’m going to start playing Suikoden II then play III (since III is asking for II save file). After that, I’m going to play my Xbox and finally play Halo 2.

Anyone reserved for any upcoming games? I reserved for tekken 5 and I’m going to reserve for devil may cry 3 later.

With RE4 finished, Oddworld Stranger right around the corner, that game God of War is now my most anticipated game. That shit looks hot.

X-2 is dope IMO, once you get past the beginning where most of the Charlie’s Angels crap occurs. Samurai Yuna w/Rabite’s Foot and mastered skills = badass.

Now Xenosaga on the other hand…there’s a failure if ever there was one. It would suck so much if not for two things: the metric TON of storyline with little gameplay, and the fact that Xenogears was it’s predecessor, which is one of the most badass games EVER. Plus, I can’t stand Shion’s whiny, robot-lusting ass. Just build the vibrator into KOS-MOS and be done with it, damn. I did, however enjoy the brief glimpse of Abel in the end of XS1, Fei and his family kick ass.

At least Jin, chaos and Jr. own all those fools for free. Jr. should’ve been the main character anyway, since all the story starts to revolve around him and Albedo. And Jin is homage to THE MAN, Citan Uzuki, so he has to be cool.

Halo 2–the Heroic journey----

man, that Scarab section is ALWAYS fun to me…the music fits the scenario perfectly, it’s tense and dramatic, “Action Jackson” Sarge yells “We gonna kill us a Scarab!”, and the chase is on…and once again I’m running along the edge with my rocket launcher, thinning out the Covenant so I can have an easier time when I just down on the Scarab’s back. It was actually quite a challenge for awhile this time…there is an elite inside with either white or Silver armour…and those guys seem to have a LOT of health and shields…and of course that’s why I always make sure to save at least 2 or 3 missiles for when I get inside.

Before this, for the first time…I noticed that there is more rocket ammo on the area with the 3 Wraith tanks…I took a left on that hilly street there, and there’s more missiles over in the back area. It’s my 3rd time thru the game and this is only my first time noticing that street actually leads somewhere.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Resident Evil 4 is THE OWNAGE. I rented it yesterday, and it easily blows any other RE game (or survival horror game) away. Shooting people and kicking their heads off is fun. And Ashley’s the cutesy non-combatant, yet she’s still cool…what a concept!

Yeah that game was the shit, and then I beat it.

I’m probably going to play it again very soon,(no one can stop RPD Leon) but I’m into NFL Street 2 now.

NO ONE CAN STOP THA FUNK FACTORY , HOO HAH ! After I beat the game thing, I guess I’ll give X Box live play a try.

After NFL Street I might play MGS 3, Metriod Prime 2, or Front Mission 4, whichever tickles my fancy.

Finally got my metal slug advance in mail. Maid in china… something is kinda fishy there but it plays exactly like how I remember from playing at EB’s so whatever. The game’s pretty hard, never got to clear the first mission. It also doesn’t have too many funny animation(which was one of the best things about ms x), except maybe for one occasion at the very beginning enemy soldiers slacking off behind their trenches.
