ah, I’ll be hitting up Toys R Us tomorrow or Thursday then…if the one I’m thinking of is even still alive…

Halo 2 – once again, I love that Fuel Rod Cannon, and I just used it in one of the coolest segments(SPOILER blah blah) of the game…when you’re at…I think it’s called High Charity…and you bust into this huge room where Brutes, Elites, Hunters, etc. are all fighting…this bad-ass “action hero music” starts playing, and it inspires you to really get in there for some quality killin’. I jumped in with my Fuel Rod Cannon, taking out 2 Brutes with ease, mid-jump shot(Fuel Rod takes out Brutes in 1 shot!)…strafe over to the side hallway area and threw a plasma grenade to wake the elites up the hard way…and the music is just fueling my whole mood here…
Earlier on on this 2nd play-thru…this time I jumped on Prophet Regret’s cool chair, and punched him to death(*LOTS of blood here…). Last time I killed him with the sword. After he fell out, the chair was still there on the ground…man it would be so cool to steal that chair and fly around in it for awhile.

Look sensitivity still 7. I’ll try 9 tomorrow.

*edit—it’s so frustrating when my Marines die…I was really trying to cover them this time thru the game, but the drones, Elites, and Brutes in one of the rooms on High Charity were just too much. It was 1 guy left, and I couldn’t react fast enough to save him from a rampaging Brute. :sad:

I’ve now completed my roommate’s copy of the PS2 MMAC. God, that cartoon that you could unlock was horrible. And other than that, it was all the same shit as on my GC version.

I’ve also finished Team Dark’s game on his Box copy of Sonic Heroes. I’m at Egg Fleet as Chaotix, Hang Castle as Sonic, and Rail Canyon as Rose. I’ve been getting A ranks the whole way through.

My other roommate and I were playing HALO 2 co-op a couple days ago. We had it on Heroic, and eventually got tired of having are asses handed to us so constantly. So we started goofing off. I was jumping off every cliff that I could find, and he’d jump after me screaming “I’ll save you!” We’d see how far we could get using nothing but melee attacks. We discovered that Sentinels can be destroyed in one hit from a melee attack with the Sentinel Beam. We also discovered that a melee attack with the Plasma Pistol is actually a left-handed punch, so then we started running around finding our own corpses and punching them in the crotch. It’s was great fun.

I can’t resist…I’m going to actually get the Halo 2 soundtrack probably this weekend. I love the music on the title screen.(*one of the coolest title screens ever, btw. The logo is great, imo in terms of design, and check the 3d work in the monochromatic background. Beautiful) I also really like that cool theme that plays when you enter the big room(*that I mentioned earlier) in High Charity much later on in the game…

I’ve really gotten back into DBZ: B3 again. Building up my fighters in Dragon Arena is fun even if the CPU abuses the Dragon Rush moves like a cheap n00b. Of course when they do that all I gotta do is avoid them until their ki runs out and they become “tired” (dizzy) and then, BAM! Hit e’m with a death move. Someone off the internet built up this killer Super Buu. This dude is MEAN. I’ve only seen him lose once and every time I pit him against other people’s built up characters from the 'net, he always gets a chance to absorb somone. Most of the time he absorbs Gohan or SS3 Gotenks. Even a Brolly couldn’t beat the guy and even a SS4 Goku and Vegeta lost to him. :wow: I haven’t fought this Super Buu yet (not sure I even WANT to). He’s at level 99 and none of my fighters are even close to that level yet. The highest fighter I have is my level 56 Goku.

The cool thing about B3 is that even after all this time of playing, I’m still discovering new tactics and strategies to use. Now that is the mark of a good fighting game. :tup:

right now im playin Kingdom Hearts i beat it 5 times now trying to get up to 10 wait 6 times just beat it bitch. its easy now that i know how to beat it but i was f***in lose to f***in Sephiroth that gosh darn beast. In fighting game words hes too broken.

Gave up on Kessen 3 and MSlugAdvance. MSA was getting rediculous

Playing Dynasty Warriors 3. So far I got 8 of the 41 or so characters maxed out. Gonna try with Zhuge Liang now ugh.

For some reason, killing random citizens never gets old to me in GTA: SA. They’ve especially got it coming if they mock my waredrobe or tell me to take a shower. :clap:

Yeah, I’m STILL playing Budokai 3 on a daily basis. They game is just TOO good. I’d love to see this game at EVO '05 but I doubt it will ever happen. :sad: At least there should be some intense B3 matches on the 'net somewhere down the line. Million, you played this baby yet?

I just bought guardian heroes advance. I never played the first guardan heroes. holy shit this game is crazy hard. Anybody else played it?

It’s not fair to compare the Guardian Heroes Advance to Saturn version…but imagine the same game with 10x better graphics. I also remember there being more characters on screen at once. GH was the greatest game on Saturn, and possibly one of the greatest games of all time. Yeah, I think if I put together a top 20 list, GH might make top 10 at least…and I never even got to finish the game.

That’s a Sega game right? They should redo that for either this generation or the next.

Halo 2 co-op last night with a friend. We played thru on Heroic…a setting the kicked my ass big time on solo. With a partner though, it wasn’t nearly as bad, since there’s always someone there to cover the other person much better than those stupid cpu-marines can. We made it to The Arbiter level where you pilot the Banshees for the first time. It’s old news I know…but I noticed that the enemies’ health is obviously bumped up(in…the library? I hit an elite-heretic type in the back with C.Carbine melee…it took 2 hits to kill…on normal just 1 puts them down.), and it seems like they either shoot faster or have more powerful shots…?!? Some of it is bullshit too…I swear I saw some shots from enemy plasma rifles HOME IN on me…as well as the plasma mortar from a Wraith tank…the shit was already in the air…I strafed quite a bit to the right side…and it CURVED THE PATH so I could still get hit. Bull. Shit.

I must get The Punisher —many of you may have avoided this game because of all the negative talk about the movie…but the violence in this game is so hilariously over-the top…it’s good, and I must have it soon. There’s so many interesting ways to kill people here. Also, after they are dead…you can get a shotgun and blow limbs off until it’s just a torso there…haha…they end up looking like a little bloody butterball turkey with a shirt on. People can also be used as “meat-shields”. Right in the beginning, you can push a guy’s face into a small aquarium with pirana in there…and they eat his face off! And then there’s Punisher’s super-kill-spree thing where he gets superspeed and just goes “PUNISHMENT!” It’s great.

It’s been so long since Zero posted here:

Right now Zero is shuffling between two games, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Megaman X8. Zero plays FFTA when he’s away (when appropriate), and X8 when at home.

X8 is the greatest X game so far in the series, no doubt. X, Axl, and Zero are all great choices with unique abilities to bring to the table, the graphics are great, the game is challenging, and the voice acting is passible. Really fun game.

As for FFTA, so far Zero loves it. There are so many fucking jobs it’s insane. And although Zero never liked the “learn skills from weapons” idea, it really doesn’t take away from the fun of leveling. Although weapons that don’t have skills are garbage, especily since Zero is the type of player who will aspire to have every character learn EVERYTHING. The only two minuses are that there are skills that become unavailable after certain points in the game (no game should EVER have that…shame on you, SqaureEnix), and, of cource, the judge system: very annoying and a waste of time. And the story is lame, too, but Zero doesn’t play these games for story, anyway.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is right up there with Final Fantasy Tactics and the Tactic Ogre games are the best Strategy RPG’s in the world.

In fact that is why Zero put La Pucille: Tactics in the back burner.

Speaking of backburner, Zero is once again behind in the games he owns. Zero’s brother just got Zero Metroid Prime 2: Echoes for Zero in his way of forcing Zero to play game he has no interest in (Read: Burnout 3). And this is right after Zero deleted his Metroid Prime file. So it looks like Zero will have to reply Metroid Prime, then play Metroid Prime 2 (Zero will be using FAQ’s, of course). So now Zero has these games to play:

Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Burnout 3: Takedown
La Pucelle: Tactics

Then there are the PS2 and PSOne games that won’t work on Zero’s PS2 that he needs to beat. Put Zero won’t worry about them until he gets his new PSTwo way in the distant future.

But the worst of it is that Zero still has to buy and play Paper Mario 2, Viewtiful Joe 2, Baten Kaitos, Final Fantasy 1 & 2: Down of Souls, and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. And Resident Evil 4, Suikoden 4, and Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap is coming soon, too.

Argh! Enough with the new games! Zero can’t take it!

and yeah, I’ve been looking forward to Punisher after I saw bits and pieces a few months back. Interrogating and violence. Got punished indeed lol :clap:

I just starting playing DBZ: B3 with Uub again. Oh snap, is he good. Best human in the game IMO. I only wish you could combo after his throw like you can with Cell and Teen Gohan. He’s worlds better than Kid Trunks and Goten that’s for sure.

I just played Halo2 Legendary for the first time…and it is pure hell…just on the first stage. I’ve been playing for probably the past 2 hours or so, and I STILL am not out of the 1st base.(Covenant place a bomb and infiltrate…the 1st segment of the game!) It’s pitiful. I’ve at least made it to the part where they start pouring in from this hole in the wall, which I think is connected to their ship outside. There is NO possible way to survive this down there on the ground floor with them. I was in a shootout for eternity from up on the 2nd level of the area…that metal grating catwalk thing. The only thing that even gives you the slightest possible chance to win here is that there’s lots of spare plasma grenades laying around up there. Some things:

-bullshit = apparently a plasma grenade stuck to an Elite STILL won’t kill him. This is after some shots too. They just don’t die. Oh yeah, and good luck stickin’ one from up on the catwalk. It’s so far away the Elites obviously have lots of time to just dodge it. In fact, I’ve run out of ammo before even taking down 1 or 2 of them in this area.

-The only hope is Plasma Pistol +…something dual-wielded. Plasma for the shield of course, and whatever else(SMG) to kill. FORGET about Plasma Rifle. It’s some weak bullshit here.

-bullshit #2 = I’m pretty sure I scored about 6 headshots with a Battle Rifle on one particular Elite in this area…and he was still running around just fine. It’s like each one is Pre-Crisis Superman. This is disgusting.

It’s really to the point where I’m not even mad anymore…the level of bullshit here is just silly. I was actually laughing at the game. Well, “Heroic” will likely be much easier after I play on this for awhile.

*random sidenote—not just on Legendary…I noticed that nothing good ever comes out of operating a turret at any point in this game. You’ll get your ass shot the hell up in seconds every single time.

Ninja Gaiden is easy game IMO. Only reason people think its hard is because they are used to the recent action games where you run through and just hit attack.
