if you liked the first BN you should REALLY try the second one…it keeps to the spirit of the first game but really adds on to it…
Softmax just finished patching their old windows 9x games for XP. That means I can play War of Genesis 1, 2, 3, 3pt 2, Rhapsody of Zephyr, and Tempest.
Too good for words.
Well I played some Street Fighter Alpha oln PS1 today. Nice game. They give you the choice between remixed and original music. I thought I’d like the remix tracks better but they sound too jazy. Original all the way.
On Battle Network 4 I did some gay “smash the rocks so you can fight Metal Man in the final round” crap. :bluu: Capcom, if BN5 is anything remotely like BN4 in terms of story heads will roll.
Bumpage.
The gayness of Battle Network 4’s “story continues.” So I’m on my way to the hottel when I suddenly get kidnapped. I’m foced to ind 4 parts to form a data key so I can escape. Once I do that I find out that the my “kidnapping” was just a flipping test. It was a perlim test. “Oh sorry for fooling you. It was just a test. We didn’t really kidnap you.”
Great. So I guess this is the part where I sue your sorry keisters for all you’ve got, which is probably jack! If I ever find the bufoon that wrote BN4’s strory…:bluu:
Pilotwings 64 was THE TRUTH. I wish I had that game myself.
But I wouldn’t consider spending any kind of money on Xenosaga “hitting the jackpot”.
Anyway, before I got my GC Phantasy Star Online, I too was playing MMBN4. That fricking Aqua Mode is cheap as hell…Buster charges in like, one second and hits for double damage.
Ha ha! I know what you mean, AlphaDragoon. AquaMan’s Soul Unison has really helped me out. I also got MetalMan’s Soul Unison. Man, that Navi looked tight.
ncaa football 2005 on xb live…
warcraft 3 (campaign)
Still playing SA2B. I’ve finished everything with Tails, Shadow, and Rouge, and only have Lost Colony left with Dr. Robotnik. I also still have to complete Cannon’s Core, and the Chao Races and Karate. God I fucking hate the damn Chao!
I also bought MegaMan: Network Transmissions. I figured I owed the .exe series at least a try since I like the OG stuff. But after playing the first level and defeating FireMan, I haveto say that the series is just as lame as I always thought. The weapon system is absolutely craptacular. You can only have five weapons on you at a time, and they all share the same energy gauge, and also have a limited number of uses. You can put up to twenty weapons in a little folder, and the five you get to use are randomly selected out of that folder. You can designate one a “priority” weapon that will always come up as long as you have ammo for it, but the other four will still be random. If you didn’t get the weapons you want/need, then you have to wait for the custom gauge to refill so that you can be sent weapons again and hope for the ones you want that time. It’s really stupid.
I also am getting really sick of all this RPG/leveling shit in my platforms. I don’t like RPGs because I hate having to run around and kill random crap so that I can be buff enough to fight the boss. I don’t want it to appear in my platformers either.
It was very extraordinary for me when I went back to GTA3. With everything completed and such, the game is quite boring to me now. Neverless, I probably went back and uploaded my file anyway do to my extreme boredom of nothing better to do…
Though I will comment that I crushed, shot, and blown-up every individual I saw. My death wave ended in me being killed by some FBI agents…
I watched my brother-in-law play Victorious Boxers: Ippo’s Road To Glory. This game is a serious boxing sim. No life bars and most of the time you can’t even see the clock. He got pretty far in the game. Right up to the fight where they start giving you prize money for winnings. I just wish there was a practice mode.
Bumpage.
I was playing MMAC a few weeks ago and I forgot how how the Yellow Devil is in MM1 on Normal. You have to have expert dodging skills whenhe’s changing side of the room because two or three hits by those pieces is one too many. That was really the only thing that made him so hard.
I’m on the last tourney of Battle Network 4. Proto Man is in the tourney so it could get tough. What bugs me is how tough some of these generic Navis are. The first guy in the Blue Moon tourney has to call in viruses to fight. One that recovers his HP mand another that casts confusion on me, screwing up the the directional controls. Once I finish BN 4 I’m going back to the first BN.
From time to time I’ll be keeping y’all posted on my Xenogears progress, cuz I think this game is freakin’ awesome. Spoilers might show up, so you have been warned.
Today, I’ve had one hell of a time in Stalagmite Cave. Looking for all the sensors to open the door, and ran into my first real deal tough boss battle, “Calamity”. OMG, that battle was a little intense cuz I kept wondering if I’m going to beat the boss before my Gears, particularly Weltall (Fei’s Gear) would run out of fuel. The boosters kept kicking, Bart/Brigandier’s Wild Smile and the deathblow combos were in full swing, and…VICTOLY! Calamity put up quite a fight cuz of the amazing amount of HP compared to the level I was at.
But now, just chillin out at Bart’s Hideout.
I’ve mainly been trying to step up my MvC2 game for the past week. My MSS is pretty solid, but my Storm definitely needs work. Also been screwing around with Sent/Charlie/Doom. I’m surprised how well Charlie can fare when paired with Doom’s AAA.
Also bought Fire Emblem. 2 days, and I’ve already put about 10 hours into it. Buy. Now. K?
That’s the one on the GC right?
If so I have to defend that game because it’s really good IMO(even though I didn’t like it at first glance). At least, once you get past the chips and learn how to use them. At least you aren’t playing the GBA .EXEs.
Besides, the visuals are great, the battles are quite challenging, and the new designs of the robots are great. Pharaoh Man and Shadow Man are especially my favorites. Every Megaman fan should go through it at least once.
Speaking of which, after I get done with Fire Emblem for the GBA, I’m gonna work my way through Megaman Zero 1 and 2.
Famicom, you should just be getting to the introduction of the most badass character in that game.
Anyone get Sudeki? I’ve been really curious about it since I first heard of its mention.
Bought Tales of Symphonia a few days ago. I’m already 20 hours into it, most of which I spent fighting. Definitely worth the money I spent on it, plus I heard it’s kind of rare in many places, so get it while you can.
I played some Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the GBA. It seems I’m a bit rusty at the game. I had a tough time in Survival Mode. I only pulled of like 1 Super Combo with Ken. It has been a while since I’ve played Alpha 3 on the GBA or PS1.
Played some DBZ: Supersonic Warriors. I bought the Museum and listened to some of the tunes. Frieza is still one of my fav fighters in the game. I just love how he fights with his arms across his chest, hitting fools with his tail and such. I actually like him better than Cell and Cell is my fav DBZ villian.
Yes, that is the GC one. I will admit to liking some of the character designs. MegaMan, GutsMan, and FireMan all looked pretty cool, and I also liked that cameo from one of those blue wolf things from MM2 Wood Man’s stage. But some of the characters look retarded, like Roll for example. And I still think that the weapon system, the most important feature for a MegaMan game, is not good. Randomly selected weapons is absolutely not a good idea for an MM game.
Right now me and my sister are playing Silent Hill 4.
Ten minutes into the game, I’m feeling sick. My sister, a die hard fan of the series, plays for an hour, then throws up dinner.
It would have been good had the nausea been due to graphics or the story. But nooo… If any of you ever feel motion sickness in any game before, avoid this game at all costs – of all the games I’ve seen, this is bar none the worst offender.
^that sounds great. Unfortunately, I’ve missed out on this whole Silent Hill series. I never even played part 1. I probably had already killed my playstation by the time it came out, and moved on to Dreamcast. And of course…like I’ve said a billion times before…I’m still avoiding having to get a Ps2. I’m not eager to buy a system made by a company that is still 0 for 2 so far in terms of hardware quality.
-DBZ:sw = I got back into playing again. I got a powerlevel of 12million+ last night, against the “Heroes Team”, and the Android Team.
haha…Dr. Gero still sucks. That’s a waste of a character slot.
-PSO = The Chojin quickly approaches level 149…eh, story-bit later…too lazy to do my usual narration of his adventures right now.
