late news, I know, but whatever—I heard on G4 recently DS will have a small price drop to 129.99. I’m hoping it will drop again by the time DBZ Supersonic Warriors 2(*Bukuu whatever) comes out. I still think the most a portable game system should cost is 100 bucks. I know the tech on portables is improving…but it’s still a portable system, and I can’t help but see it the way they’ve always been since back in 89/90.
Is Geist out already? People seem to talk like this game already came out…the hell? Where’s the hype? You seriously can’t expect a game to sell if you just “sneak” it out on to the store shelves.
EDIT-------I had a dream last night about playing Unreal Championship 2. Yes, I love the game so much, I even play it in Dreamland. The odd thing, however, is that I was playing as Sapphire for some reason…and I never pick her. I have 0 interest in the character…she’s not even good TnA, imo.(*Selket is the real hotness) In the dream, I was online and DOMINATING with Sapph…which of course is the complete opposite of reality.
Well I went to the GameStop near my apartment for the first time ever. Was looking for the Sonic Gems Collection. But the fools didn’t have it. So I checked the used PS1 pins and found a copy of the rare Street Fighter Collection. Had to fork over $24.99 but now I finally have a console version of SSFII: Turbo, even thought that is one of my least faves in the SFII line. And Alpha 2 Gold is finally mine as well.
Radical Dreamers sucked. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure book in video game form. I can’t even say it’s part of the Chrono continuum because there are a lot of plot holes when you compare the stories of Radical Dreamers and Chrono Cross.
Okay game to play through once, but after that, never play it again.
Haha, I should probably be an asshole and spoil the biggest surprise in Radical Dreamers, but I won’t.
Choose your own adventure books rock! Heehee. I’d rather deal with a lot of plot holes than deal with not knowing wtf is going on because I haven’t played Chrono Cross yet (it’s at my dad’s house)
I’m really liking Star Ocean… I like how the battles work.
I’d be playing the SNES Fire Emblems but I can not find translations, and I don’t have the patience for playing it sans storyline at the moment… maybe later.
SCREW SPIDER-MAN 2!! I get to the final battle with Doc Ock and wouldn’t you know it, the makers decided to make it stupidly ridiculous. If Ock grabs you, he beats the living crap outta you and you have to turn off 8 generators. And of course the fusion reactor field is going wild but your spider-sense doesn’t warn you of when it’s going to expand and hit you. And the generators are all over the place so you have to search well for them. And don’t let Ock throw you because you may get thrown in the water.
Guess I just don’t have the patience for that crap.
Original Star Ocean, huh? Way too easy in some points for my tastes (won’t spoil anything though), but it had/has excellent graphics and sound for the time. Till the End of Time is where it’s at though, that and The Second Story are hardcore.
And do yourself a favor, avoid Radical Dreamers like plague. That game makes me cry on the inside. In fact, go replay Chrono Trigger to purify yourself of the notion of ever playing RD.
Aight so I’m checking out some classic PSX games that i had once played and never finished, and games that i’ve always wanted to get but didnt at the time.
Tactics Ogre: this shit is fuckin expensive, I was looking at Amazon.com and the shit is like $77.
Herc’s Adventures: this game is about $34 and should be less.
I suggest never ever returning games back to stores, especially RPGs because eventually they get high in price and hard to find later on. Keep them shits.
Btw, I’m still enjoying Mercenaries(xbox), too good.
