Trying to get back into WC3FT. The game is in its 1.18 version which essentaly means I need to replay some single player shit in order to relearn how the races work again. I love me some updates.
Currently playing FF6 and Socom 2. I ditched wind waker for now
Playing : SOC3, not bad. The first 3 hours drag the fuck out though. Side kick is broken.
PS: I always maintain an elite level of Ninja Gaiden 1-2 mastery.
still tryin 2 beat neocontra n shinobi on ps2 got it a few weeks ago but haven’t played more then a few hours on either and neocontra has no saving so ur required to beat the whole game in 1 sitting with the highest super class S ranking on each level to get the real final ending i got a lota BS ending saying get higher rankings n wen i finally get A in all the levels it sez good job the world is safe get higher rankings lol CONTRA GAMES R THE HARDEST GAMES EVER CREATED N THATS IS A FACT NOT OPINION also i jus got doom3 today looks great n fun to play better then halo2 i recommend it as a must have for xbox
Oh man. These bonus dungeons on FFI are killing me. I finished completing the 2nd bonus dungeon, the Hellfire Chasm on my way home from work. I was a bit disappointed that the bosses in there didn’t have the fight themes from FFIV. Shame, really. Anyway, I’m in the Lifespring Grotto and I just got done showing Atomos what was up. Man, that was a long fight! What game was Atomos from? FFVI? I can’t remember all that well but the dude didn’t put up a sucky fight, that’s for sure. Some of his attacksdid 350 point sof damage to a single party member. And even with NulBlaze, his fire spells still did some heavy damage.
The Lifestrping Grotto is also home to the feared Omega and Shinryu. My party is at level 51. Is that high enough to take them on or should I leave the dungeon and level up? If I should level up where is a good place to go?
Atomos hails from FF V. He’s a boss in one of the shield generators of X-Death’s castle. He usually uses Comet on one character to kill him, and suck him in using Wormhole while he’s still dead. Is he the same there? 
Actually he uses Wormhole when my party members are alive and it always misses.
Been fighting Omega for like 25 mins now. Ugggh. Shoulda waited until I got to level 99. :wow:
I’m about to start playing Silent Hill on PSX. Hopefully it will be good!

Awwww yeah!! Who is da man?! I said who is da man?! After a long battle that seemed to last forever, I finally beat Omega. He must have killed everyone in my part at some point in the battle. The only party member to die just once was No. 18, my White Wizzard. So after I took down Omega, I got out of the Lifespring Grotto Shrine and headed for the Choas Shrine (useless fact: In the NES version I believe it was called the Temple of Chaos and I believe the Lute was the key to traveling back in time). Right now I’m leveling up my party for the upcoming battles with Shinryu, the Phantom train and Death (Doom) Gaze. And I can’t beleive the Ultima Weapon is in this game. I must have that sword.
Sometimes a bit of luck is required in beating FFV Omega. If your setup’s not right, you’re dead in seconds.
Finally got Mayor Mike Haggar to join the party in NxC. There’s no other grappler that I know of in-game other than King and Baby Commando, so he will have to do if you want SPD and spinning clothesline goodness.

Akuma satsui no hadou-ing Ryu into Evil Ryu= ZZZZZZZzzzZZZzz. E.Ryu does have gigantic close-quarter range (and combined close-range and long-range reach, overall).
Oh yeah, Dig-Dug man reimagined and reinvented for the 21st century = awesome.
Seeing some of the bosses from FFV in FFI: DOS has given me the urge to play through FFV again. Man, the combat system in that game was just genius. And there was just something about X-Death that made that mother so menacing. I liked him better than Sepiroth. Speaking of Sepiroth, yes he is a Bad-A but Kefka and X-Death are far better villians.
Anyway, I’ve decided to level up my party in the Chaos Temple. This is the best place in the game to level up. 3000-4000 EXP touting beasts. And since I get like 10000, 15000 gil in most fights, my gil is now maxed out. My party is at level 72 right now. I had to quit playing because my DS power light was red. Charge time!!
wow,i didnt have any advice on beating shinryu and omega,shinryu wasnt that hard.but omega,i dont know how many full life spells i had to cast,it took me a shitload of turns beating him the old fashioned way.has anyone fought this boss that kept casting death spells in the second last extra temple?All i had to do was equip those bracelet things that make you immune to death spells and watch out for and heal his physical strikes.Then after you beat him,he gives you this super broken weapon that is stronger depending on how much hp you had.
Random question for the day:
How do you get Meteos to let you fuse Soul items together? I have two planets and a weapon that each need a Soul to buy, and I haven’t seen a single Soul in 3 or 5 days of play.
Also, how do you get the “true” ending to Straight mode in Star Trip? I think it’s the only ending I need.
VG Emblem, what levels were your party members at when you beat Omega? Just curious because I was in the low 50s and It took me close to an hour to beat that dude. And I had to use Full-Life countless times.
The weapon you’re talking about is the Ultima Weapon, which was also in FFVI. Man, that thing is too good!

just to get this cleared up,(i havent played in a while),is omega the boss after the 40 floor extra dungeon,Big machine with the huge cannon spell?If so,level 99.,i tried taking him on when my party was around level 40.,but he easily wiped me out.
Yeah, that’s him/it. My Nintendo Player’s Guide says he’s difficult no matter how high your stats for your party is. But I still can’t help but think I wouldn’t have hard such a tough time with him had my party been at level 99. But I won’t make the same mistake with Shinryu.
I don’t really care much about X-Death. First of all, his story is kinda dorky (I’m a MAD RAGING TREE! PH33R M3!). Secondly, he acts like a generic bad dude (world conquest cliche and typical evil laughter). Even if I do hate Kefka, I find him more interesting than X-Death…he was just too bland. His design, however, wasn’t half bad.
